Q: What activates the device

When it senses any movement from critters. It will not activate from normal motion such as driving but when it senses a rodent or a cat per se, it activates. I bumped into my car by accident in the driveway where it was parked and it did activate-it was dark out and I could see the strobing light.

Again, don't know, it does work for squirrels
