Got white for minimizing cluttery appearance on white refrigerator. Mostly for permanent notes such as single pages or index cards. Sometimes for coupons or other things that come and go. With normal usage, there are no sharp edges. While other magnets block what I need to see, these contribute to actually customizing what I see. Terrific.Set comes very well packaged for safe transit and storage.The so-called pads for protecting your surfaces from scratches are not made of felt, but are thin flexible magnets. They extend the hard magnets to be even with the steel shell, or a trace further. Slightly smaller diameter than the steel shell. The wax paper adhesive covers have no tabs, so they’re hard to peel off. Once the pads are within a quarter inch of the hard magnets, they pull right in, so center accordingly. I positioned the backs straight up on fabric and held the edges of each pad with evenly spaced thumb tips and index fingers so I could feel where the shell edges were, slowly moving straight down. Several were still a bit off when adhering. Instead of all this, they should come ready-to-use by either having shorter shell walls or thicker internal magnets, unless part of the manufacturer’s reasoning is due to dark gray streaks from sliding the hard magnets on surfaces. In the meantime, they should put an instruction page inside the box that tells you how to apply the pads, and why to. Although a little annoying, the peel-and-stick aspect is done once ever on this nicely tough product, so full stars.

Love these magnets nice bold colors and strong magnets

a strong magnet that will hold anything you'd want to hand on a fridge. the clip and the magnet are strong enough to hang a calendar from, which is why I got them in the first place. yet now knowing the strength of the magnet I've found other uses for them as well. Very handy to have around the house, office and garage. The quality of metal, magnet and spring strength of the clamp is suitable for many uses. yet not so strong that you'd have trouble removing it. definitely worth the price.

These magnetic clips are way beyond what I expected! I bought them so that I could hand a towel on my refrigerator, hoping that they would be strong enough. They are definitely strong enough - both the magnet and the clip spring itself. Their form, fit, and function is excellent. Buy them! You won’t be disappointed.

Very well packaged. They are nice and shiny and very magnetic - just what I was looking for. I put the small cover on the magnetic surface to protect our refrigerator and it still has a strong magnetic pull. They come packaged in a strong box with a lovely black velvet type cushioning. Elegant for a magnetic clip!

As advertised, the magnets are very strong, and the included non-scratch stick-on "pads" - very thin magnetic plastic discs - work well and are easy to apply. The clips also seem well constructed (time will tell ...), but have one problem, perhaps, for my application. The top half of the clip, where you push down, has somewhat sharp edges. I'm using these magnets inside new mailboxes to hold out-going mail, and I was concerned that if when reaching inside the mailbox, my hand ran into the clip's top-edge, I might get cut. Or the mailman might get cut when he reached in. So, I folded a piece of Gorilla tape over the top of the clip, which covers the sharp edges but looks cheesy. A vinyl cap on that top piece would mitigate the problem. Probably not an issue, though, if the clips are used on a refrigerator or whiteboard.

I love how strong the magnets are, they hold up computer wires, calendar, pictures, best thing I purchased in a while. Love, love, love, usually magnets that I purchased earlier was so weak, everything eventually fell to the ground that I pinned on my refrigerator. Buy it , you won’t regret it,

These are amazing! I've had these for a while and they're still strong as ever! The clip still holds pretty tightly and none of them are broken. There's the littlest bit of scratching but I do keep them in a kitchen, so not sure how they would fair elsewhere.
