Great for short commutes
This reusable travel coffee cup is a great way to cut down on waste and save money on disposable coffee cups, but there are mixed reviews on whether the lid seals perfectly. The ceramic material is really high quality and keeps drinks hot for hours. If you are looking for a leak-proof travel mug, you might want to consider a different option, but this cup could still be a good choice for home use or short commutes. Here are some additional features of the cup that I found appealing:Microwave and dishwasher safe for easy cleaningHigh quality ceramic material that keeps drinks hotOverall, I would recommend this cup with the caveat that the lid may not be leak-proof.

Spartan, utile and a blank canvass to personalize
A beautifully spartan, functional insulated ceramic tumbler. My wife and I put on decals and love them-- excellent price too considering the ridiculous offerings out there for something non-plastic/metalic to keep my coffee hot. You can use generic silicone coffee lids-- a tad tighter but will absolutely fit if you need to replace.

Microwave safe coffee cup
Perfect coffee cup that is microwave safe. Lid fits top well. Also like the no slip grip comes with it. Although I have to admit the lid does have a bit of that newly manufactured chemical smell. Other than that it works well for making coffee or tea on the go. I think the all black design is very nice.

Fits wider range of car cupholders than other types of mugs used for travel
For me, tea just doesn't taste the same in metal or plastic travel mugs. This ceramic mug can be used both at home and while walking or driving. The silicon lid fits well but does not provide a complete seal (has small driking hole). The lid does prevent splashing/spilling in the car or when walking. The silicon sleeve keeps the hot cup comforatble to hold.

discard the lid
The mug itself is a decent mug. If it has adouble wall, it provides little insulating capability. The lod however is horrible. Ihas asmell and taste that I can't get rid of, even after many washings with different techniques. The taste and smell are so strong that they make me uncomfortable (sometimes nauseous). The mug functions as a basic mug but the lid is worthless, perhaps even unhealthy.

Great Cup, bad smelling Lid
I drink 2 cups of coffee at work. it always bothered me that i should bring my own cup and save 2 paper cups. i like the starbucks type cups ( tall and without handle ) rather than a regular mug. so while browsing for black friday deals, i found this and decided to get it. I really like the cup. not too heavy, has a rubber sleeve that acts as a non slip thing. also, the coffee stays warmer for a few more minutes than a paper cup.but the bad thing is the rubber lid. it smells really really really bad! and you cant stop smelling the cups lid when you drink from the rubber lid!i gave the lid a good wash with soap, but the smell stays ( atleast for the 2 days i have tried).anybody else had this issue and overcome? please let me know.for now, I am just using the lid to transport the coffee to my desk, and drink it directly without the lid. an inconvenience, but at least i am happy that i would save the 464 paper cups in a year ( yes, i calculated the no of days i would work in a year )

Beware chemical odor
The rubber(?) lid is tight which is not always the case with this cup but it also exudes a terrible chemical odor . This odor gave my husband both breathing issues and a migraine and was unable to continue using this lid after just 20 min. We’ve bought this item before with no problem.
