Great little radio
This little radio will pick up mini stations at my workplace

AM reception is an apparent afterthought for this model DSP radio.
This particular model is sold under a plethora of names, the one I received does ok on FM and NOAA reception, (no surprise given this is DSP based) AM is where most of these models tend to fail, especially when it comes to weak AM signal reception, I get a lot of internal EMI from the sample I received on AM, also, too much bleed over from clear channel (50KW) stations masking weak stations. The cost has shot up I see, but the AM quality remains bellow par (for my use in particular).I can only assume that because most people don't buy these to listen to AM exclusively, I suppose this is ok, but due to the propensity for AAA batteries of almost any brand, to leak and ruin the devices they're left in, I imagine that anyone unlucky enough to buy the current iteration of this radio will have to wait or keep searching for the lithium version of this radio, actually there are a few here on Amazon, (rechargeable lithium) but they cost more and the AM reception is slightly better, but not by leaps and bounds.

Great portable radio
Surprised by the sound quality, quite good for a small portable radio. It's reception is very good. Overall very pleased and good value for the money.

Bottom LCD segment dead until I resoldered a cracked connection internally
Reception is OK. Sound quality is horrible though, but what can you expect from a tiny, perhaps 1 inch speaker? I bought this as an emergency radio for a backpack so tiny and lightweight was my main concern.Music sucks but voice intelligibility is acceptable. Right out of the box I had to crack mine open to re-solder a cracked connection that kept part of the LCD panel from working. There are two screws hidden behind the sticker on the back, by the way, should you need to open yours, and several snap locks around the perimeter, like in many remote controls.

Surprised at the high quality
This is a really able little radio. Easy to use, feature packed, sensitive tuner, a speaker that is unexpectedly good for such a small and low priced unit.

It’s fine
It’s fine, but nothing to write home about.Once you turn it on, there is no turning it off - at least not that I can see. It was also quite difficult to program and the instructions were unhelpful. What matter is that, at the price point, it works. Just make sure you have extra batteries available because it is perpetually on.

not bad, ok for money, a lot of buttons , read the instructions first.
cheap, sounds ok, i am gonna buy some head phones that your clear up the sound issues, but fine for a emergency radio, don't try to rock out with it.

It works
My old pocket radio just was not able to pick up the radio stations in my area satisfactorily. The stations we have go to low power at sunset. This little radio picks up those stations very well. Sound is ok through the speaker but I use my headphones and that works very well. Am very pleased with this radio and for the price, it is very good.
