Q: Are the fan slots big enough for baby’s fingers to fit through?

No. They are very narrow.I can’t even fit the tip of my pinky finger through, and they’re curved, which restricts it even more. It also deep enough so that even if baby could fit a finger through, couldn’t reach the fan.

Q: What size is the screw that holds it together? Mine came out after using it a couple times.

Take the screw to home depot or ace and match them up.

Q: Can the fan be used while charging?

Confused by another's answer. I have two of these fans and they both work while being charged. They also run all night on less than a full charge. We use them in our camper all the time all night long. his fan is beyond awesome . Very powerful and quiet for such a little thing and you can put them anywhere and also free stand them.
