Quality product for budget minded hunters
For the price point, this camera takes very good pictures and videos. It doesn’t have cell phone capabilities. But I knew that going in. For the Hunter on a budget, these are the way to go.

Easy to set up and use, good results
This was my first-ever trail camera. It arrived quickly and was pretty easy to set up. The instructions are written well and were easy to follow. The exception to that is on the setup options with more levels, such as for the time zone, it didn't mention to press Menu to go back to the options list. Still, setup was easy by following the instruction manual. I used a 32 GB Sandisk SD card, and in the first night, 300 images and video took only a very small portion of the card. I had set the photo size setting to 24 MB, which results in images in the range of 3 to 6 MB each. Defaulting the video setting of 1080, each is about 10 MB. I set it to take 2 images and to also do video, so each capture consists of 2 jpg files and an mp4 video. I was trying to find out what had been leaving very large dog tracks on the property (that weren't from my own large dogs), and it was captured numerous times by the camera within the first 12 hours. The clarity of images and video, both daylight and nighttime, are impressive. We haven't had sub-zero temperatures yet, or rain or snow, so I can't address how it works through adverse conditions, but am very happy with the setup, ease of use, and results so far. The one caveat is that without the side view motion detectors set to "on", it may not capture and record motion at the edge of the viewing range.

Simple and reliable so good value
Simple set up, reliable, good battery life, quality daytime videos and some good quality night videos. PIR range is questionable, ranging from 35 to 70 feet. Hard tot ell if videos are incidental captures base don close by triggers versus longer range PIR triggers. Longer range capture would be good and better night capture.

Great value. My favorite cameras
These are well-made and perform well. Higher quality and better performance than ones I've paid twice or three times as much for at Cabela's. I have four of them and they all work well and have held up over the years, although sun has deteriorated the plastic lens over the motion sensor on one of them. I now use rechargeable lithium AA batteries in them that put out a full 1.5 volts. Alkaline AA batteries work, but rechargeable nimh AA batteries that only put out 1.2 volts barely work or not at all. It needs AA batteries that put out a full 1.5 volts each. The only improvement I'd like to see is to design the electronics to work with the lower-voltage rechargeable AA batteries like some other trail cameras do. The price varies a lot on this item so I wait for the price to go down before ordering.

Works Comparable to Much More Expensive Brands.. Bought a 2nd Unit!
I have had many "top name brand" trail cameras in the past 20 years of my deer hunting career. I had a couple of "15-20 year old" cameras that were on their "last leg". All of my previous cameras cost well over $100 to get a fast trigger speed and "no glow" night images. (none are cell cams) After reading some reviews, I thought I would try this model... after receiving it & setting it up, I am extremely impressed by it's performance so far. It has extremely fast trigger speed and it produces great images. Both trigger speed & image detail is selectable and it is easy to program/set-up. Temperatures here have not dropped below 50F yet this Fall, so I can't yet speak to low temp operation; however, it worked so well, I ordered a 2nd camera... again, this thing works very comparable to much higher cost name brand cameras!

Finally
I've tried many different cameras and finally found a cheap one that I really like. I haven't had it long enough to assess battery life, but the pictures are good and video is great. I've tried many brands: Reconyx, Browning, Bushnell, Stealthcam, Cuddeback, Campark, and others. Reconyx is certainly the best, but I didn't really want to spend that much on something I might put on public land. The others I've tried have always been disappointing even though some of them cost $150-$250. This one exceeds expectations, and I'm excited to use it more and not have to worry if it's stolen. I especially like the video...very clear and good quality, including audio. I'm glad to FINALLY be done looking for a decent cheap camera.

Great Video Quality
This camera has great videos quality. The functionalality, and customized features are great for capturing whatever wildlife you after. It's rugged and waterproof, but not sure yet if it will work with a solar panel. The sensitivity is adjustable so you can tune it to start recording once the animal moves closer to the camera, although wrong adjustments could to catch a nice view of you fury friend or foe leaving the field of view. Really good affordable camera. My only complaint is the battery situation, batteries are getting expensive and the instructions don't say anything about solar power support.
