I generally do not write reviews. This is the second one i write and the first was a complaint. I felt compelled to write a review because of how well this product performed. I am an avid griller. Significantly, i like to grill on the beach. Beach conditions will test the limits of any fire starting product. The wind, the moisture, etc. usually make it difficult to get a fire starting product to ignite and to stay lit. This product lit quickly and stayed lit. I did not have to try and reignite. The conditions i was operating under were 25 mph winds and it had been raining the day and night before. The product worked like a champ. Despite the conditions it lit easily and lasted long enough to get my fire started. In addition to the product’s performance, i was also motivated by the owners added personal touch. Along with the product i received a card of appreciation and notice of the business being family based. I am an avid supporter of American family owned businesses that have that entrepeneural spirit that exemplify the backbone of our country. In short, this is a product that works great and makes u feel proud to buy. I wish them continued success, not only for them, but for me so i can continue to buy this product which will become a staple of my grilling.

Great to use and useful for one who has problems starting fire in fireplaces

The starters were small, so I had my doubts. But just one ignited all the dead and wet brush I needed to burn, doing yard work. I'm not sure how they do it, but I'm sold!

We absolutely love these fire starters! We’ve ordered twice now and will continue. Best we have found. After 5 minutes this is what fire looks like.

I was skeptical at first when a friend told me about these. I have traditionally used the Weber Lighter Cubes (white) but I haven't been happy with those for a while. After they burn, they still leave a residue on the grill surface. With these fire starters, they do not. Plus, they are much cheaper than the Weber Lighter Cubes. If these were made in the USA, then I would have given them 5 stars. I'm all about supporting small businesses. I wish these were made in the USA.

Placed 5 of these on top of pellets in my new Solo Stove to get it going. We were in Mohave desert and it was blowing like crazy and I didn’t think these little starters had a chance. Much to my amazement about 10 minutes later I had a rip roaring fire going! Highly recommend this product and will purchase again.
