Joytutus Cup Holder Compatible with E39 525i 530i 540i 528i M5 1997-2003 Front Dual Cup Holder for Car

Excellent product. Fitted nicely. I had to remove the old cup holder since it was no longer needed. BMW should have thought of this. As you can see in picture, an Apple 6 plus, or any large cellphone will not fit. The Samsung S7 fitted nicely even with the case with a wiggle room to spare. I may have to modified and cut the left slot to fit bigger cellphone all the way across. The left holder is bigger than the other, but most any combination of cups should fit, even sports bottles. If you have big cups or containers, it may rub on the leather between the radio and the A/C controls. Also, you may have to constantly remove your drinks every time you control your A/C unit. That is one sucky part about it. Still, no regret.

I love my car, but the Germans clearly did not really want us to have true cup holders with this series. I did not realize this product existed and was very pleased when I found it. It came in, fits perfect. It holds most metal cups very well as long as it has the standard base. May find it difficult to get it into park with the cups that widen at the top, but that's easy to work around. I have long commutes so not having to constantly hold my cup has been fantastic. Well worth the money

Perfect! Fit and finish are exactly what I needed. I replaced the first cup holders with a BMW part. $75 later it failed in 2 months. Went on Bavarian Auto Works and bought an over market. Looked good but it installed above the console and hindered the lock switch, hazard lights and ashtray. This baby is awesome. Fits perfectly and doesn't interfere with anything else. Easy install and the price was right!

good product, they fit perfect in my Bimmer, but need to be attached otherwise they will lift with the cup.Just remember, in Germany, people do not eat or drink coffee in their cars. Those holders BMW had were a joke and right next to the electronic pannel where they can spill. BMW should add these to their cars

Fits into the designed area well. Looks like it belongs there. The little 3m tape underneath is enough to hold it. My only wish is that it was a bit wider? My phone (Google Pixel 6) just can't fit into it sideways. Would have been nice if it could.

This is a well designed and executed fix to the problematic cup holders that come in an e39 BMW. Like almost every e39, my cup holders are broken, even if they weren't they are a horrible design. The plastic is thick enough to be durable yet have some flexibility to nestle into the console tray and it matches the interior design so it doesn't look like an add-on.This replacement utilizes the available space to provide a holder that is taller and can accommodate more than a 12 oz can, unlike like the factory offering, without getting in the way of the shifter, 12V socket or dash buttons. It has two sizes, one for a 12 oz can and another that will hold a tapered (not a vertical walled) travel mug as seen in the photo.

Don’t know why BMW missed this easy fix for so many years with the E39. I guess this item would have taken away from all the money they made ( including mine!) with replacing the stock cup holder.This is a winner. No need to use the adhesive affixed to the bottom. It’s a good snug fit & looks as if it was always meant to be there.

Great solution for the price! So much better than stock e39 cup holders. Fit looks oem and very secure mount. Holds a can or smaller on the right, but left is big enough to hold most 20 oz soda bottles. The slot between the cup holders is also just the right size for an iPhone with case on it, for a secure place to place your phone. Very satisfied with the product, especially considering it was one of the least expensive options to solve my cup holder dilemma.

Perfect fit, covers up the broken original parts, and super easy to install. Holds a pop can in the smaller holder and a slightly larger container in the other one. Plus it looks great. So happy I got this.

Definitely keeps things more secure than the actual cup holders in the dash.

Fits great! Looks like it belongs in the car and the cut in the middle makes it perfect to put a phone in.
