I found these drinks both too bitter (from the Kava) and too sweet. I prefer to use droppers of Kava in Lime juice as a "shot" and then follow it up with a beverage of my choice (non Kava). The bitterness of Kava is just too strong for any beverage IMO. Maybe some people get used to it. I would rather take it like a bitter medicine and then actually enjoy a beverage (like my non alcoholic IPA).

I enjoy the traditional kava shells at the local kava bars-- but sometimes I'm not in the mood for muddy water and I want something a little more crisp and flavorful. This is where Mitra9 comes in hand!! All of the 'feel-good' and calmness I am looking for in the traditional drink, except packed with fruity deliciousness... I enjoy one in every evening!
