Purchased this camera during a lightning Amazon sale so had a good saving over original price. I had been reading numerous reviews on different indoor CCTV cameras and came to the personal opinion that for best quality you need a minimum of a 2 megapixel lens and 1080p quality. Looking at the positive reviews on this camera I decided to try it out.Delivery was very good arriving a day earlier than expected and the camera was well protected during shipping. The camera is of solid construction, discreet and very silent in operation following post set up...First thing prior to installation was to download the Eye4 app to my Samsung J5 which was a breeze from the Play Store. I then also downloaded the Eye4 software programme to my laptop computer again very easy. Set up the camera via WIFI three feet from my sky 2.4Ghz router and plugged in an already formatted 32GB SD card. ..The CCTV camera on being plugged in was then looking to connect with my phone which I placed next to the camera...no problem at all connecting within one minute. The footage on the phone is of excellent quality and within less than 30 minutes had easily worked out how to use it...(Instructions are reasonable straight forward and easy to understand)The lap top programme is also very good and after fiddling round with it for another half hour had it all sorted..You can turn the infra red night lights on or off via the lap top, you can actually zoom in via the lap top (as opposed to zoom on mobile phone by pinching the screen) You can set individual positions you can get the camera to turn to and view both on the phone and lap top. You can speak through your phone to the CCTV camera whilst out if you have any dogs that may be misbehaving.I am going to move this camera upstairs to a windowsill in the back bedroom overlooking our garden to see if it will still receive Wi Fi signal and record.. If so will be buying another one.. Very pleased with night time low light footage as well..extremely clear..The main reason for buying was to view our dogs whilst we are out and it is obviously a very good indoor security camera and would recommend it to anyone ..Genbolt customer services (in particular big thanks to Vincent) are quick to respond and are very helpful..Hope this review was helpful for any potential customers thinking of getting this model....

This is only the second time i have bought a camera that i can put in my window and be able see outside my property at night with the IR off because of the reflection in the glass, in the low light condition the picture is 10/10 ,i have tried and tested quite a few cameras on Amazon and would recommend this one over some of the main ones out there.Most people don't test for this feature before they give their reviews so it's impossible know.Easy to set up ,plug it into the router and once setup there you can go wireless and place the camera anywhere as long as there is a power socket.

Had this a little while now , located between two front doors , ideal to leave the outside one unlocked for post etc , as soon as there is movement it automatically sends me notification , if I’m home or out , so long as you have reasonable internet on your phone you can check instantly , with options to press a track route of if you want to fix the camera in one potion , I set one of mine as Home , so it I decide to look around , I hit Home and I’m back to my chosen location , image is superb great camera for price of mind .My one and only complaint about it was the power cable length , I had to purchase an extension , as it only comes with about 1 metre from the wall point , my plug was further , apart from this set up us relatively easy as I’m no expert with tech , even the manufacturer sent me an email once I’d set it all up and it was registered , asking if I was satisfied , I have been thinking about getting another one as it’s so good . This was my second try at a Wi-fi camera , I purchased another common make first , but after a week it kekpt disconnecting from my Wi-fi so got fed up with it and returned it to purchase this one , in my mind its well worth the few extra pounds to get a reliable product , very happy with this camera indeed .

Great little camera and easy to set up. When pressing the pan and tilt there can be a delay and it is very quick in its movement. Could be a little slower. The only bad point is there is no real instruction and I have had to play around with the app and the camera to get things right. On the app there is no clear way of changing date and time and on the videos and also deleting the video once you have viewed and checked. I have this camera on over watch watching the street and drive of my property. I have turned the ir off as this was affected by the glass even at night the picture is good quality.

Really pleased with this camera .Picture is very clear ,sound excellent .Had a little trouble setting it up ,nothing major .Would definitely recommend.I bought it to monitor my new puppy when going to bed and when I am away from the house.Does the job perfectly

Had it for a few months and it still works well. Good quality (though likely not 1080p, but upscaled 720p), good range of movement. Also works well off the network. We use it to monitor our 9 guinea pigs when we're travelling.

Software that you use with this camera is a complete and utter nightmare, extremely unreliable, constantly crashes and build quality is bad, the camera has lasted only 11 months before I have to buy a new one. Please don't buy this if you value your money and sanity!

Excellent camera, I use them at the front and rear of my property covering both doors, they look out through front and rear windows and work really well. No glare through the glass, record quality excellent, I have already caught two vandals with it and the video quality was good enough for the police to charge them. Excellent product.
