DOES THE JOB INTENDED
Fantastic product...Do swallow them whole tho as they are an acid...i do it with a big glass of water to make sure they go down...!I've had terrible problems digesting food and know it's not cured mine as its being looked into...but they help my stomach to digest the food I eat and produce less gas and bloating....and that happened the very first one I had...!I don't use them all the time but if eating a more complex meal...I have one b4 or during and they are fantastic...!Iv read that as we age we lose some of our acidity in our gut...suppose that too depends on diet and now we know so much more about these things.. so makes sense if your aging might need a boost...!Highly recommend and good value for money...

It's not always what you're told ....
It's magic! I'd taken these for 5 years and just before Christmas, I stopped. My mistake. I've had a terrible 5 months healthwise. Been pumped full of the usual PPIs and Ran***dine. Both of which made me so ill I ended up in A&E with chest pain and palpitations... couldn't eat hardly anything..GP had said I'd got acid reflux, gastritis because of too much acid. Totally wrong. It was the opposite. Stopped everything and restarted these. Back to normal. Eating and drinking normally. If my cholesterol does go up and who knows if it will.. then I'll deal with it but living on dry toast and boiled potatoes and having difficulty drinking water isn't anyway to live..

A good product
It's a good product. For me, it wasn't as effective as the one I usually use but, it was good to test something different.

Digestive Enzyme Complex – Didn’t Help with My Digestive Issues
Digestive Enzyme Complex – Didn’t Help with My Digestive IssuesI tried the Digestive Enzyme Complex hoping it would help with my digestive issues, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I didn’t see any improvement, so I won’t be purchasing it again.

A must-have for the lactose intolerant
Since developing stomach issues when eating dairy, coupled with a nasty stomach bug on holiday that took weeks to fully recover from, these have been an essential for me - I even carry a few in my handbag in a small container so I always have some on me. I was informed that the lactase enzyme, coupled with others included in the complex, would help me digest food (particularly dairy) easier and prevent bloating as well as uncomfortable feelings in my stomach which can really disrupt my everyday routine. When taking up to 2 a day just before meals, I've noticed a difference - I don't feel sick or bloated afterwards, and I'm able to go longer between meals, as it seems like these really do help my body absorb energy better, aid a regular digestive pattern and make the most of my food. Similarly I notice a difference when I forget to take them, especially after a big meal - after a rare meal of a cheeseburger and chips I felt extremely bloated, sick and uncomfortable all evening, despite not even eating a huge amount.I avoid anything dairy-heavy out of habit (ice cream, milk and anything very creamy), but I can tolerate foods with 'hidden dairy' products in better than I have in years - it's a huge relief to not have to be a picky eater anymore when I'm out with friends or having someone else cook for me! I'll be sure to purchase more before running out, as they've really become an essential for me.

Great, but theres a but
I've taken these for approximately 3 months.I have IBS and for the best part of 15 years I've had regular bouts of toilet issues that occur typically in the evening. Pretty much tried everything you could think of. Saw a YouTube video of a girl talking about the 20 odd supplements she takes for either IBS or IBD (I forgot) whilst most of them seemed overkill she mentions Digestive Enzymes as one of them so I thought id give it a go. I then heard a number of others suggest it as a useful supplement to take around meals to activate digestion. In the 3 months since I started taking them I've had only 2 bouts down from the 1-2 a week I was experiencing. Which is a massive positive. I take one before my main meal or any other meal I feel my digestion will need a boost. The but. The tablets have a lightly effervescent style meaning they dissolve as soon as they come into contact with water. So you need to swallow them down with plenty of water immediately so they go straight to your gut. Twice a tablet got stuck in my throat as it went down and the burn was incredible. The last time my throat was still affected the next day.Worth having a go in combination with a diet that doesn't burden the digestion system too much and you don't over eat.
