I love this drainer mat but the plates don’t stand up very well, and it doesn’t hold larger plates.

my plates has a very slight curve at the edges (standard ikea plates) and only the large plates fit in half of the holds , my smaller plates dont fit at all anywhere so the rest other half of the holds are useless now (you could put cutlery there but thats not that helpful).... so only get it if you have compleely flat plates .... the matt looks good though, but havent used it yet and i do love the idea that it dries things and you can put it away when not using so i'll probably still keep it ....a little too expensive for what it is though

I didn't know what to expect with this mat, but I absolutely love it. The larger size is very good, so you can get a lot of dishes, glasses, cutlery and pans on it. Before I had a smaller matt and also had to use a tea towel, now I only use the Umbra Udry matt. I love that you can move the dish stand part up or down the matt. I prefer it being closer to one end and not in the middle. It is very absorbent as well and dries quickly. And it's great having the elastic to hold it closed when folded away for storage under our sink. It's a great matt and I'd highly recommend it to everyone. FIVE STARS FROM ME*****

Should have gotten the smaller size. Brought it to go in campervan, but the plastic rack bit is too big to store, so ended up only taking the fold up pad but with me. Ideal size for kitchen at home, but not camping

Good at stacking regular sized plates but not thick rimmed bowls but these can go on the mat. Absorbent, Dan’s grey blends with worktops. Don’t use glass holder as doesn’t seem secure. Would still recommend.

I like the quality of the microfibre mat, and it's a good size, but if you want to use the plate rack element, be warned that this is not shaped to support anything but the flattest, rimless plate. Certainly doesn't fit our Denby dinner or side plates, which have a slightly raised rim. Thought about sending it back, but will keep it for the mat alone, which is absorbent and useful. Threw the plate rack bit away, which is a shame, but it's useless for most of our plates.

Brought to use in the caravan were space for a normal drying rack is just not available.We use melamine crockery which stand in the rack perfectly as they’re light weight.The mat does hold all the water but it is damp on the underside - fine for plastic worktops (or the glass hob top in my case) but it would cause damage to a wooden worktop if left.It dries pretty quickly when hung up, so overall a handy bit of kit for the caravan.
