works
after spending months/years with an intermittent ground loop on my 2-input desk speakers, i finally twigged it's a ground loop issue. This was slightly cheaper than i expected but works brilliantly. Typically ground loops are an issue with the install and ideally you should fix the cause rather than patch it with something like this. however for those edge-use cases, this is the right tool for the job.could of done with a peice of sticky tape included to stick it out of the way (back of speakers for example) as it's not something that needs to be visible. small minor thing thats not worth -1 star for.

Amazing little gadget
I used this product in my car to get rid off of a static/electric noise produced while playing music from my phone (Galaxy Note 4) through the aux cable and charging it at the same time. I am driving many hours a day my phone has to be charged at all times. When a music feeding device is powered by the same source with the amplifier then white noise gets through as well (I could hear the alternator high pitching when revving up) and this little filter is all you need to fix this. I was amazed by the total silence and it doesn't alter sound quality at all. It is also well and nicely built. Highly recommended.

Fixed My PC Audio Buzz Completely
I used to have a really annoying buzz from my computer's microphone port regardless of the source I used. Tried three different soundcards before and multiple different cables but the buzzing and noise were still there. Then I tried this and it resolved the problem completely. The buzzing and noise was removed entirely and there's no noticeable loss of audio fidelity either. I highly, highly recommend anyone to give this a go if they have annoying buzzes in their PC audio. The device is also well built, sturdy and compact which gives me confidence that it will work for a very long time.

Isolated well, loss of audio quality though
EDIT: Aukey sent me a replacement unit, which worked much better than the original one I received. They were very helpful in getting it sent out to me, and the new unit works perfectly. It's no longer got the massive volume or bass level loss. No interference at all, and much happier now!-----It’s a bit of a mixed bag for me. I’ve had a problem with interference when charging and using aux for a while and took a punt on this.Firstly, I plugged it into my car and my phone and no interference. But then hit play on my music and nothing comes out the speakers. Have a fiddle with the cable and it only seems to work if the lead from my phone to the isolator is a tiny bit out. However, once I’ve done that all the interference is gone! Great, you’d think. However the volume loss is quite large. Had to turn it up a substantial amount to hear anything, and also, seem to lose a lot of bass. Mids and highs seem fine.If I can get it working properly with the bass it’s be great value for money and the sound quality would be good. But as it stands, it’s hard to recommend.

Does the job, just not perfect
Overall, good, just not perfect. The product is good and does what it says in isolating the noise from ground loop in my car (2008 Mercedes C-Class), but as others have mentioned it does impact volume and bass. However, the impact is better than the noise in my opinion and I'm glad I bought this and am using it. I think it could be a bit cheaper for what it is and AUKEY could engineer some of the bass/volume back in.

Great for studio monitors without a DAC/Audio Interface!
I've been using KRK studio monitor speakers for 3 years now and only recently decided to purchase a ground loop isolator... I should have bought one when I bought the speakers! When I want to plug the speakers straight into a laptop/computer/phone I used to get a horrible hissing/buzzing noise without the use of a DAC, but this removes those hissings and buzzes and gives you a 3.5mm input which to my surprise is small enough to allow use with phone cases, unlike the 3.5mm adapter I use to plug into this device!

Fixed my problem, probably
I ordered this device as a punt. I had weird electronic chirping sound coming through the aux in on my car stereo (Mercedes Audio 20) and ordered a basket of gadgets to see if anything would work. This was the first thing I tried, and it worked. So I returned the rest of the stuff and left this in.My problem did not sound at all like ground loop problems I've had in the past, and I have no idea whether this thing fixed it, or if the problem just went away. However it was cheap enough and I'm happy!

Buy one, they work!
Using between a guitar effects pedal (Line 6 Helix) and Yamaha guitar amp. Had a ground loop buzz that wouldn’t go away no matter where I plugged them in. Slotted this between the pedal and amp an hey presto, Bob’s your aunties live in lover! No noise. Did what it said on the tin (yours might come in a box). All good.
