Q: Hi i have white patches which disappear when i clean but come back it is a dark brown grout am i washing it too much it has never been sealed

Dark brown grout doesn't normally have a sealing problem. Your white patches could be limescale build-up , I would recommend a limescale cleaner.

I think that this product is great for all regular toilet hygiene but something like grouting needs a different more robust cleanser. HG do a grout cleaner, which I have found to be very effective and then when the grouting is clean, you could perhaps spray the area with the hygienic toilet area spray to finish it off?

Q: Anyone tried this on light grey coloured grout? I wonder if it will change the colour.

I used two heavy coats applied with artist brush on Jasmine colour and it dried to original colour. If I recall instructions state colour may darken if over applied. Hope this helps

Please see the instructions for use below: For removing stains: 1.Shake HG tile stain remover well and pour onto the area to be treated. Use undiluted for extremely dirty areas, for mild dirt dilute HG tile stain remover to a ratio of max. 1:5 with (preferably) warm water. 2.Scrub with a long-handled brush or brush and leave the stain remover to work for 5 to 10 minutes. 3.Then rinse with lots of water. To remove epoxy residue: 1.Shake HG tile stain remover well before use and use undiluted. 2.Scrub and then leave to work for about 20 minutes, then scrub again. 3.Then rinse with lots of water.
