Poor product and customer service.
This phone was promising as it could enable my old mother to get in touch with close family, without having to dial numbers but just press the button with the desired person's picture on it. I programmed the numbers, following the instructions and checking that each picture button worked as it should. However, after a few days the programming under the picture buttons failed and no number could be reached using them. I re-programmed at the next opportunity and things worked again for a short period but then failed again. After having this experience 4 - 5 times we have now given up the picture buttons and the phone is used as an ordinary phone with larger number buttons. It has unfortunately proved difficult to get in touch with the seller, who asks me to create an e-mail account to communicate with them, asking for codes that I do not know. I therefore cannot recommend this product, as it seems not to do what is promised and has poor customer service. Two stars for arriving quickly and for working as a regular phone.

Excellent Phone- Guven my father a new lease in life
Bought this for my father as he is partially blind & deaf! The other Doro phone he had only had memory buttons which weren’t big or clear enough for him to see! This meant he couldn’t ring anyone and had to wait for us to ring him! This phone has given him a new lease of life, he can feel the large preset buttons on the right, no photos as he can’t see them. Instead I have just put our names in but he can remember the order in which I have done it! The cover that goes over the main buttons is great less confusion for him! Sound he says is superb with his hearing aids in & when it rings I think next door can hear it! All in all brilliant buy! He now rings me 2-3 times a day even if it’s just to say hello!

One criticism
The only downside to the phone is there is no battery to back up the stored numbers. If you disconnect the telephone lead, the stored numbers have to be manually re-stored again. Apart from that, the phone works a treat. Bought it for my elderly mother who has dementia and lives alone.

An awesome piece of kit
This phone is an awesome piece of kit which makes all the difference in enabling my elderly mother with poor eyesight, poor hearing and dodgy memory to contact me. She couldn't work the regular phone as she couldn't see the numbers to dial. Now she can ring me whenever she wants and hear me properly due to the loud earpiece. We both love it as it has opened up our line of communication again. It came quickly. It does need re -programming if unplugged or the phone line goes down for any reason.

Memory keeps dropping out and have to keep reprogramming memory buttons countless times.Fundamental flaw given critical for emergencies. Tellingly Doro tech asked if unit was being used with an extension cable which may also rule this out . Doro tech based internationally and won't confirm these issues. Shame as amplification outstanding given hearing loss.

Amazing Purchess
This is an amazing phone I can not recommend it enough. This was for my Father who has dementia and was dialling the wrong digits problem solved with picture. Phone . Before buying this here I had visited a large well known dept store who could not provide a dementia friendly phone. However since purchasing this. I have advise. the buying section of said store, about this phone .Thisis purchase has enabled my Dad hold on to some of his independence which is priceless

Brilliant!!!
An incredible piece of equipment. I purchased it for my father-in-law who is 90% blind and very deaf; the single button dialling is perfect for him (I replaced the photos with large numbers, 1,2 & 3). The volume control lock is brilliant and for the first time he can actually hear reasonably well. The cover for the key pad was a bonus as he now can't accidently press the buttons. All in all, the best thing since sliced bread, sorry about the 'gush' but I was incredibly impressed and would recommend it to anyone!!
