Interesting book--well worth the price.
I am very pleased with the purchased. The images in the text are brilliant, and one cannot help but admire the imagination of the creator. The only reason I don't rate it five star is that I expected a bit more of the definitions: however, I don't think anyone would be disappointed if they order this book. My expectations were a bit distorted.

Fun, visually appealling book!
Cool concept. One star off because some of the verbal synopses of the philosophies seem a little off. But overall it's been great to look at with my family and it's started some fun conversations on how the pictures represent the concepts and whether we would depict them differently and why.

Philosophy Never Looked So Good
I've been a fan of Genis Carreras' Philographics for years and finally got the book to share with friends and family. Now they'll unsuspectingly come over and I can quiz them on their deepest philosophies like an artistic personality test.

Philosophies illumined
This is a truly remarkable book! It is an excellent place to begin a study of Philosophy. In very few non-academic words, the author and artist light up the fundamental ideas/ principles/ propositions of the various schools. The illustrations provide a colorful, striking, aesthetic explanation as well. The book would make an excellent adjunct text for an Intro. class or a History of Philosophy class.

Amazing Minimalism
It's not very often that I buy table art, actually I never buy table art. But when I found the Philographics website, I knew I have to get this. The simplicity of each item and the color way selected makes this such a great inspiration for someone that has to work on data graphics. I can't wait to get my hands on one of the prints.

Philographics: Big Ideas in Simple Shapes
A great addition for any art book collection. I love any type of modernist style print, and this book was fascinating. I particularly enjoy the way the designer creates meaningful, informative designs with such simple graphics. The quality of the book itself was really good, with the cover having a lovely feel to it.

Beautiful Minimalism
Minimalism is an art of the mind, and, as such, is greatly underappreciated. All of the sweat equity that goes into it, disappears. Because the artist eliminates instead of adorns, what the viewer is left to ponder is so simple and direct, it is mistakenly thought to be easy to accomplish. "My kid could do that". Not really. Of course, I love this book.
