Worked great (while it lasted) - Amazing customer service
This is going to be a long one, as I did a lot of research before purchasing this - so brace yourself. This is my first Android Box, purchased to replace my ancient WD TV Live - for playing media from an Ext-HD on my TV. My old box was struggling with MKVs, and refused to recognize H.265 or any type of recent Dolby format, so I figured it was time for an upgrade.Build Quality: The ABOX is small, about 4.25"x4.25"x0.75" - comprised of a mix of matte and shiny plastic. It's attractive and looks nice next to the TV, with a blue digital clock on the front. The included HDMI cable is short, but most people likely have a bunch of spares laying around so it's not an issue. That's said, the ABOX doesn't feel especially high-quality - but for the price it's about what I expected.Remote: Sufficient I guess. However all Android Box manufacturers really need to start including an Air Mouse Remote with these devices. I purchased one separately along with the box as I knew the included remote would be a pain to use.Function: As expected, these boxes take a while to set up for whatever purpose you have in mind for the device. I didn't run into any issues along the way - everything I wanted to change or needed to install went without a hitch. The main desktop screen isn't the greatest but that's easily remedied with a new Launcher App. Once everything was up and running, the ABOX played everything I threw at it without a hitch. Many different audio and video formats (run from an Ext-HD) played perfectly without any stuttering or freeze ups. Apps like Youtube / Hulu / KODI all ran great without any issues.Until.... about a week of use later the box decided it didn't want to turn on anymore. Tried everything - different remotes, different outlets, a new power supply... nothing. The box just died out of nowhere. So I went ahead an messaged GooBang Doo customer support for help, and THEY'VE BEEN AMAZING. I can't stress that enough - they messaged me back within a few hours with help. I've gone back and forth with them via Email over the last few days and always get a response within a few hours to answer my questions. They walked me through troubleshooting and trying to flash the firmware on the device to get it back running. Unfortunately nothing worked - so I'll have to get a replacement sent to me.So 4 Stars.... -1 because the ABOX died after a week... but hopefully this was just a fluke. The box did exactly what I wanted flawlessly while it worked. I'll update this review once I receive the replacement and have longer to test it's longevity. Basically, if you're buying an Android box from one of these less-well-known companies.... you really don't know what you're going get. Fortunately, I chose an Android Box from a company that really stands behind it's products and wants the customer to be satisfied.

WiFi issues but good customer service
I had an issue on the device that the wifi gets disabled each day until I restart the box. However after my initial review their customer service dept reached out to me and they have tried hard to make me satisfied on the purchase. So I have bumped up my rating to 5 star for their customer service. Other than the issue I had on wifi I do like the other features of the tv box.

Great versatile box that can do it all!
UPDATE:ABox contacted me and they helped me resolve the issues I was having. They really do care and want to make this a great product. The more I use it the more I love it's versatility. I am going to use this for a lot of different use cases, hotel travel, outside neighborhood movies, and at home entertainment. I love the ability to watch all the apps, USB and SD card options plus the ability to show documents like PowerPoint and word. Makes it great option for work or church presentations.OLD POST: I bought this for a road trip with my kids but it has been so frustrating to use out of the box. Really needs a keyboard. I have not been able to sign into anything because either half way through sign on it goes back to home screen or everything says login failed. I thought it was bc of the hotel wifi but my android tablet and phone work just fine. It REALLY NEEDS an app where you can can control it from phone or tablet like every other set top box has. Without it this thing is so frustrating to use.

First Impressions Make a Difference
After posting a disappointed review, GooBang Doo reached out to me to investigate my concerns. I explained the lockup issues I had been experiencing and asked for suggestions on correcting. They felt as if this may have been a defect in the box and immediately shipped me a new one. I'm happy to say my lock up issues are gone. I still have some time-to-time buffering problems but they are rare and immediately correct themselves. I suspect this is simply my wireless connection so I'm going to hard wire to resolve that only if it becomes routine. My faith has been restored in both this product and the service provided by this seller.

The ABOX is a great android box that can be used for multiple purposes ...
The ABOX is a great android box that can be used for multiple purposes like plugging it in to a TV to watch streamed apps, connected to a monitor and used it as a portable computer. I was impressed with the response time, the apps open very fast and I don’t experience issue with the apps freezing. This box is running on Nougat OS which makes it compatible with the latest apps, I was not able to find an app that I usually use that was not compatible for it. Is great to have all the extra ports for USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and audio to mention a few. I was able to get the box up and running after turning it on. The remote works great and is well made. I plugged in a keyboard and mouse and was very impressive with the response time I was getting. Def recommend this android box if you are in the market for getting one
