Some limitations but overall, great product for the price
I bought the Neewer Carbon Fiber a few months back to get my Real Estate videography going and for my low budget productions. Let me tell you right now that if you're looking for that ultra smooth gimbal look, this probably isn't the stabilizer for you. I am a confident Glidecam user and therefore was conviced that I could pull off almost the same results with this cheap steadicam. I was wrong as the build quality of the tool is just not as well put together. Not a big surprise though given the price difference. Another problem is the weight. I set it up with my Canon Rebel and kit lens and it just wasn't heavy enough so I taped extra weights on the sides. That improved my results massively. So keep that in mind when buying as the gimbal itself is not heavy at all. The last negative I have would be the top mount where you balance the camera. Like mentioned by previous reviewers, they have exchanged the one with tightening knobs in favor of just a quick release plate with some markings to know where the balancing point is. That certainly helps once you have the balance but to get there is very tough and it's not sturdy at all.Now having said all that, for the money, this is a very well put together little steadicam that feels good in your hand. When using it with my A7s, I was approached multiple times from people asking how expensive it was and being really impressed. Once you get enough weight on there and have practised with it, you can get some really cool shots that aren't perfect but def cinematic. I enjoyed it especially when filming tracking shots, even at 50mm. The panning is tough to do as the rail turns too easily imo. There is no organic resistance like on the Glidecam which makes it harder to do so smoothly. In the end, this is great value for the ridiculously low price and i would recommend it to anyone wanting to get started with Glidecams.

Very good for the price
I’m using this with a Canon XA-20. First time around, it took a bit of time to get it all balanced, but it’s now much quicker. Just remember to make sure your side screen is out and you have any peripheral stuff like mics on the camera before you start!Using the stabiliser took a bit of practice, though there are good videos on YouTube to give hints. Keep at it - it gets easier.

Its what you expect it to be.
I wouldnt use it for heavy cameras...balances phone, urig, lights and mic quit well. If you get a steadycam and expect to "know how to use it straight away" you've never tried a steady cam. They take practice. Quality and build is good value for the money and I have not had strange issues as others with mine. 4 stars as its a 4 star product and build

Amazing improvement from handheld.
This item will allow those still shooting handheld to be able to get shots while walking and even gently running with practice. It opens up a wide range moving and panning shots that you'd never be able to get without something like this. Of course, perhaps it won't be as good as the more expensive options but this is much better than just shooting handheld even if your camera has image stabilisation. You can shoot upside down to get low shots too. I have been shooting handheld for years and never wanted a gimbal because once a camera is mounted on a gimbal you can't switch to handheld/use the viewfinder/switch lenses that easily. This is very easy to mount, very easy to balance and after a bit of practice, very easy to shoot with. I was hesitating before getting it, but now I have it I will use it for most video work I do.

Heavy
Not great for what I wanted it for but probably ok for making movies if your not planning on moving too much. It's a solid well made piece of equipment but it was far too heavy and swung more than I wanted.

It’s a very good product! Just keep practicing.
I like this product a lot. It takes a little bit of practice of balancing and using it while shooting but after few practices I can say it’s pretty worth the price. Only downside I have is that I wish they have options of subtle black colour for knobs coz it doesn’t look professional enough.

Quality Build
Very impressed with this stablizer.Admittedly, I haven't used it that much yet, I was just surprised of the build quality. It just seems so well-made and sturdy. It's quite light thanks to the carbon fiber. It didn't take me too long to calibrate it for my camera (Canon 6D with 24-70mm lens). It took me about 10mins to adjust and calibrate to satisfaction which I think is a very acceptable amount of time, relatively speaking of course. It also came in a very convenient bag which also allows room for more things to go inside. I keep a fluid head in there too from Neewer's other tripod set I bought on here.I would recommend this to even a professional. At that price, you can't go wrong.

Great tool at a fraction of the price!
The media could not be loaded. This is a solidly built, quality piece of equipment for a fraction of the price of better-branded products. Mine works flawlessly with no bearing issues at all. You will need practice with any gimbal/stabiliser you purchase, so don't expect professional results right out of the box. It's easy to set up and has some very neat features that you don't always get on cheaper products. Check out my video review for more info and thoughts.
