I noticed lots of reviews complain about leaking. It will if you don’t take 2 precautions: 1 - you need to lubricate the o-rings before assembling the hose, nozzle, pump etc. Use a silicone spray lubricant and spray it on your finger, then wipe it around the outside of the o-rings.2 - Tighten the compression fittings on the hose ends to make sure they’re fully seated.Then assemble and use! Works great! Decent pressure, at least enough for me to clean/detail an engine and enough to flush a heater core…so for me, that’s all I needed. I could wash a car with it too but it’d probably use quite a bit of water so I’d probably want to start with a 5 gallon bucket filled with water to start. Lol.

Dont get your hopes up. This is NOT a high pressure pump. It's good for rinsing off but thats about it. It was what I needed though. We will see how long it lasts but dont expect too much for 20 bucks and dont get pissed when it goes bad because its only 20 bucks! You get what you pay for.

Pros : quick connector are great, sprayer looks and feels solidCons: Pump is not self priming, is not 100 watt pump only 10 watts, water flow is no more than one of those usb pumps that you sit on top of a water jug. No where close to being able to wash a car with as shown in pictures and video.

I have a large yard and use a lot of home made week killer. I have gone through 3 Ryobi 18 volt cordless garden sprayers. At about $90. each, they don't last very long. I decided to build my own and I needed a 12 volt RV type water pump. I choose this pump because it was small, inexpensive and it came with hose and nozzle. The pump works fine but has a little trouble self priming. I ended up changing the nozzle for one with a more suitable spray pattern. The nozzle that came with the pump appears to be 3/4" garden thread but does not thread onto any of my garden hoses. With some modifications I can solve the priming issue. Time will tell how long the pump will last using it to spray chemicals.

Almost sent it back when I first got it as the motor is not sealed! Open wireing! Water + Open electrical = Not Good! However, the dog really stunk as she had rolled in the dirt like a pig in you know what! Ughhh! So I set the thing up to bathe her and kept the sprayer away from the motor. I bathe her on the tailgate of my extended pickup. Plug in on the dash console, the motor cord reaches about six feet and I'm able to set the motor in the front of the pickup bed. From there the hose easily reaches the tailgate and then some, so washing her isn't an issue as hose and electrical is plenty long. And for a little 12v set up, it delivers plenty of power! Shoots a nice long stream if you want or a nice wide spray which I use on the hound. So the minus one star is because of the open wireing and secondly, the plastic sprayer sticks open and you have to fiddle with your thumb to shut it off. Are these issues deal breakers? Hmmm? I don't think so because I've used it all summer for about 15 dog washes and it's still working. And surprizingly, for the spray size and duration of soaking and wrincing a 110 pound monster I only use about one to one and a half gallons of water! So that too is a plus. Knowing these things, would I buy it again? For the price, yeah, probably.

Worth the money this product works well.

I like not being tied down to a water hose when watering my plants around the yard and also for washing the car and goftcart. I bought a large 20 gallon plastic container and placed on the back of my golf cart, inserted the water intake hose in and water everything in one sweep around the yard. No fighting with dragging a large water hose out! Very convenient!
