Simple and easy to use
Got this product to make a former tree base into a plinth for a fire pit. So easy to use. I misjudged how much I’d need so reordering to complete the job.

Way over priced!
I bought this product after storm Arwen wrecked my fence. I had some posts so I only needed the post fix to get things secure again. I knew the shops would be full of people desperate to get their fences fixed so I opted for Amazon assuming the price would be fair. The mix itself is ok although the instructions state to fill the hole with product and then add a certain amount of water, that was rubbish because not every hole is the size they assume so I filled the water until the consistency was right. The bag didn’t fill three holes and I ran out after 2 even with smaller sized holes. In a desperate attempt to get the remaining fence posts in to stop my greedy Bichon from staring at my neighbour while the smell of freshly baked cakes wafts from her house, I went in search of another bag of post fix mix locally.I paid £16 on Amazon for the bag of mix, I paid £6 locally!!I’m fuming, I always believed Amazon to be the fairest price but I now believe they have deliberately hiked the price up knowing the product was desperately needed by those affected in the storm.

Cement for fixing posts
This was easy to use. I bought 3 bags. Unfortunately one must have been split because half the bag had cured into a solid lump. An expensive way to buy cement offset by the ease of use. (Just fill the hole, tamp it down & water)

So easy to use!
I have never used concrete before, but this was very easy. I wanted to make rustic hanging lights over my table, so I bought two terracotta pots, put a little rubble in the bottom to hold the branches still, and poured in the postcrete powder. All I had to do then was pour half of a two litre old lemonade bottle full of water into each one! No mixing was needed it just set like magic! It was exactly the right amount for two pots and provided enough weight to support the structure- see photos. My house backs onto fields and is very windy but the posts have stayed firm and it hasn't cracked in three weeks so far. Very impressed.

Great stuff
Had to fit 5 posts for a small area of decking around a shed and two bags of this staff did the trick. Each hole was 12-18inches deep and around 6 inches wide so the posts were a snug fit to stop movement (the posts were 89 x 38mm x appropriate length ), place the posts in position with correct height above surface, get them plum and then whack in this post fix up to surface level, pour in the water - badaboom baddabing job done.Good solid support and sets quickly.

Heavy bag
The bags are fairly heavy. I found that the mixture was not as I expected and seemed not to set. I am happy to accept that it was probably me getting it wrong
