The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time -Legendary Edition- Paperback – 17 Nov. 2016

Such a cool book, great presentation, easy to read, 7 year old daughter is besotted with The Breath of the Wild video game.. This book has evolved her interest in the lore of the franchise!

My daughter is a huge Zelda fan and she said she would give this 6 stars if she could!She wants to know if I've ordered book 2 yet!

Fantastic book, black and white and explains the Ocarina of Time. Me and my daughter both love reading the cook/comic. Took a while to understand but that is due to reading the book backwards.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Legendary Edition collects both parts of the Ocarina of Time manga. This is the best way of reading this manga as you get the complete story rather that having to flip between two volumes and it still contains the bonus stories.The manga largely follows the game’s plot, though once Link becomes an adult, he stays that way, which is clearly done to make it easier to follow, also means that the ocarina of time feels more like a regular instrument, rather that an important item. Still, the story and art and both fantastic and if you have read any of the other Zelda manga then you know what to expect.The main problem though is when it comes to the Hero of Time section, the manga really wants to have Link fight Ganon solo. Anytime he gets an ally, the immediately come a sage and are written out of the story. Yes, it happens in the game, but it would have been nice to do something different and maybe have the Sages actually aid Link the final fight.The bonus stories are solid. Of the two, the Skull Kid one is the best. It explores more of Link’s time as a child of the forest and as some homages to Majora’s Mask.Overall, this is one of the stronger Zelda manga and fans of the game will enjoy it.
