Bought one of these to store some coconut oil in. Delivery was prompt (several days ahead of time in fact) and product came in a well padded package. Jar appears sturdy and the lid lock is much better than an identical jar I had a look at in Tesco. In fact, the one in Tesco was that bad, I thought I was going to break it by trying to fasten it back up! Lid feels a little flimsy when you're opening the jar, but that's probably just because of the flexibility in the hinge.The jar was dirty on arrival, but the note on the lid gave instructions for properly washing the jar, which was nice. It also gave instructions on how to sterilise it.Seems good value for money and does exactly what I want it to do. Couldn't ask for more!

Bought one in 2015 — a crack over six inches long developed around the inside, regularly depositing tiny shards of glass inside the jar. I eventually replaced it and bought another this spring — merely three months in and the clasp’s pressure points have cracked the outside of the neck/lip leaving shards of glass all over my counter, and the strain on the glass looks like if I open/close the jar once or twice more the whole thing will just shatter in my hands. I never snap the clasp closed forcibly, these seem to just be poorly designed and inconsistent (the newer jar has a much stiffer clasp).

These jars are perfect for storage of dried goods, liquids and for preserving however as the previous reviewer pointed out they are delivered with the seals unattached. Both the seals tore on the jars that I purchased as I tried to put them on - no excessive pressure was applied but they are either too small or the rubber has somehow perished or been damaged. I will now have to buy replacement seals and hope thay are of better quality so maybe not such a bargain as they first appeared!

Creo que sella bien, estoy probándolo. La goma me parce un poco fina, pero bueno. No lo veo mal. Está muy bien fabricado, y los materiales parecen de primera calidad. Habrá que ver cómo envejece. Por el momento excelente.

Beim Öffnen und Schließen presst der Metallbügel an den umschließenden Glasrand und das Glas splittert ab!Nachtrag: Der Dichtungsring dürfte zu dick sein. Wenn man die Dichtung gegen einen 8 cm Weck/Rex-Gummi austauscht, der dünner ist, ist es besser.

Il vaso è esteticamente molto bello ed è corredato di precise spiegazioni di utilizzo. Purtroppo il sistema a guarnizione non garantisce la perfetta tenuta, che si può raggiungere con un'ulteriore guarnizione (non fornita).

Bellissimo vasetto che consente la conservazione ermetica, molto resistente e facile da pulire. Ho acquistato il prodotto per conservare il mio lievito madre nel frigorifero e devo dire che la gommina che si trova intorno al tappo si toglie e si lava con estrema facilità rispetto a vasi simili. Super consigliato! Ne acquisterò sicuramente molti altri per conservare le mie preparaziono estive.
