This is actually the second power bank I have purchased of this style, as I was so happy with the first one and found a new use case for it.The one that I bought before was half the capacity at 40Ah vs 80Ah of this unit. This worked just as expected! I tried it out to move a reclining chair up and down and fully charge a completely dead MacBook Pro (from 2014 so it pulled a lot of power). On top of that, I’ve charged my phone and other USB-C devices and haven’t gotten close to draining it completely.I decided to purchase this to power when I am driving my Tesla. That way, it will always stay charged up and have available power for auxiliary devices around the clock without having to compromise the 12v battery in my car.This will allow me to power a dash cam for security around the clock. I will be able to charge things when the car is off without having to worry about hurting a very expensive battery.This will be great to have available to pull out of the car whenever we are at any kind of event and will be able to charge all kinds of devices. This is going to be great for camping or any kind of trip!The funny thing is, I find myself carrying this around the house to power devices when I don’t feel like reaching down for an outlet or unwinding a cord. It helps me get things done that I might otherwise put off because of back pain that I have.It has really been more useful than I ever thought it would be. A regular power bank is something that I’ve had for years, but I never really found the use for, and they always got lost. That is one thing about these being so robust is that you can’t easily lose them.I really like the fact that this comes with a fitted case with a pocket to store any cords. It also comes with a really nice quality USBC cable.The design feels very sturdy, and I was happy to see that when using AC power, it has an active fan to dissipate heat. I don’t notice any heat buildup, and when using normal USB ports, I don’t notice really any heat at all. I am assuming it must be rather efficient at powering those DC devices.
