Does what it's designed to do
This product is well made and provides protection from getting grease/oil on your trousers, performing as expected. As a casual cyclist this is useful if ypu want to go for a quick ride during the day without having to change into more suitable gear. The velcro fastening holds well and is easy to adjust. The reflective strip is a nice touch but I'm not sure how effective it actually is.

No more oily trousers
This product is braw! Keeps trouser bottoms from becoming oil stained. Easy to use and great quality, comfortable and look neat when on your trousers.

Oiled commuter trousers no more! Great cycling accessory.
Having frustratingly got oiled on at least two occasions cycling to work, I decided to purchase this Vaude chain protector. Its velcro fastening means it is easy to put on an off. The reflective strip gives a little more protection cycling in winter by making you a little more visible. It's a good length, so it doesn't matter what part of the revolution of the pedals you are at, it will keep your trousers protected. It has some good water resistance too, and it can be wiped clean with a damp sponge if it gets covered in grim!

Works well, much better than the small ankle straps
I lost my Aldi cycling strap and found this as a replacement. It works really well, no complaints whatsoever, and has the additional reflector which shows up well.The material is very strong, and the large velcro strap has shown no signs of degradation, even though I've been using it to cycle to work and back (sometimes over twice per day) constantly for a month.Good product Vaude!

I purchased this product to stop my gore wear pants from hitting the chain ring and getting oil over them, it works brilliantly a inexpensive way of protecting a expensive pair of Gore-Tex trousers from catching or snagging on the pedals or chainring, I even bought a second one for my left leg just to stop the odd snagging on the crank.Yes I would recommend this product 👌.
