Are these worth putting on an openshot and how much added weight?

I would say the system would work on the Open Shot just fine. Hardly any added weight. The system is comfortable for sure

I was wondering what the weight limit is before I purchased

The Backpack straps were designed to carry the weight of your Treestand plus all the gear you would bring into your stand with you.
