I Need You: The British action hero of vigilante justice (Harlan Action Thriller Series Book 1)

What a great read. Not too much needless violence, great dialogue and a worthwhile hero. The writing reminds me of Ross Greenwood, who is a great writer about the British public. I will be onto number two shortly.

An easy read and keeps you wanting to read more. A cross between the Equaliser and Ockil Kinnards main Blackbats character.Being a biker, I don't hold with the brotherhood beyond everything, I think the saying two can keep a secret is closer to the real world. Looking forward to the next installment.R.

***Edit*** I've now finished the book and am already missing Harlan!!! 🥰 Book 2 is arriving in a few days, not soon enough!! Loved it from start to finish.I've not read the whole book yet but not because I don't want to!!!Warning to other busy people out there.... if you've had a hectic day and need an early night, don't start reading this book!!! I couldn't put it down and completely failed at getting my early night 🥱Will update my review later when I've read more, but so far am loving the book and already have a bit of a crush on Harlan 🥰I've not finished yet but am already looking forward to the next ones in the series.

Enjoyed the read. Couldn’t put it down.There were a few bits that were repetitive but didn’t take away from the Story. The action wasn’t as much or as descriptive as I expected. Not a lot of blood or brutality, just enough to not be off putting.Going to get the rest of the series

I'm a Jack Reacher fan, and this is similar premise but usefully different. I have to say I couldn't put it down, it was dispatched in a day! Looking forward to more from the author. Very entertaining bit of good old fashioned vigilante escapism, and we all need that from time to time!

Well worth it

Excellent read & a classic page turner . When ever I had to stop reading I was just thinking , “when can I next read “ 😊Love a book that you can picture the movie in your head as you read and this is one of the best .Most of us would like to be Harlan for at least a day 😊 a criminal yes but with his moral compass that can register with the most of us I’m sure , look forward to the next book already !

I'm normally a MC Romance reader but I have to say this book was a page turner. A story with a nice mix between authors like Lee Child's Jack Reacher and Robert B Parker's Spenser books - antihero, bad man with a good heart as the author explains. I will impatiently wait until the next one.
