great book - i had this book when it was first published and bought this for my son - it is still a very good relevant guide to body building / weight training , fitness and nutrition even now.

Very good book, although dated, it’s facts and truths about bodybuilding are still very real to this day. If your into weight lifting or just want a good read about someone who’s fulfilled there dreams then this is the book for you. One of the best reads out there for inspiring athletes and anyone wanting to succeed at any sport or vocation.

Much of the book is the story of the author, in the final part has training and eating tips. It's a great book for anyone who wants to know the history of Arnold and get inspiration to train. I have used many of the book's tips and I have had a great evolution in training. I recommend

I bought this for my boyfriend because he loves the gym and competes, but I have picked it up and started to read it. There is a reason this guy was so successful and it is a great read if you have any interest in the bodybuilding or in Arnold generally.

Nice little book giving insight into his early world.Well written, entertaining and informative.His Show pictures are detailed and truly stunning whether you are a bodybuilder or Mr Average.Very helpful simple (low cost) starter excersises for the non body builders amongst us.Has helped me get back to health from being in a very creaky bad condition.I use with Franco Columbo's Nutrition Book.

Want to know how the Monster from Munich started out? Read this book! The book itself is split into two halves, the 1st half is an autobiography of his bodybuilding years and the 2nd half is a workout guide with progression exercises. The autobiography IS motivation talk but not as much as I was lead to believe and in the workout guide he explains how there are no secret exercises in bodybuilding, the secret is knowing proper form. He may have been a competition bodybuilder in the 70s but all tips he gives are timeless. Pride of place in my bookcase!

realising that you are the architect of your own success is one of the best lessons you can learn, Arnold manages to teach this lesson which can be applied anywhere in life through the medium of bodybuilding. a seminal piece which is a must read for any man

bought this for my son in law from his wish list on amazon. don't know about the book but being able to go on someones wish list and get what they want is an easy and money well spent way to buy. you get what they want, at great prices. i well reccommend this way to shop or to make your own list.
