It smells light but musky and the container is nice.

I love the look of this candle. I don't know about it being the manliest of smells, but it smells great. It has some heft to it, like it is legitimately pretty heavy. It burns great though and it smells sooooo good when it is burning.I really like that it is metal and the skull design on it. It fits with our spooky décor. I am not sure how this becomes an ash tray when you are done with it, but that is a thing and it comes with a part for it. It's going to be a while before we need to do it, but I like having that as an option to do something with the tin afterwards, We will likely use it for holding other things though.

Like a lot of the negative reviews, the scent is very weak to barely smellable at all and I have a very strong nose. Maybe some of the shipments are just bad and I got one of them. Sadly, I'm left with a waste in this candle.Update: It's almost fully burnt down and never could you smell anything. If I lift it close to my nose, I can slightly catch a scent that smells like Viks vapor rub. I guess I got a defected candle. The company could see this and offer to compensate in some way. Otherwise I'm forced to believe this is just normal and thus... these are worse than dollar store candles.

The scent of the candle is apparent upon opening the box, and I knew I would enjoy the vanilla aroma when lighting the candle. Can't comment yet on the 'more than 50 hours of burn time', but it seems it will be giving me many days of use. The design on the stainless steel container is cool, but it would be even better if the Gothic design were raised from the surface, rather than simply printed. One photo on the webpage indicates that the aroma shifts from one to another to another as the candle burns down. I can't say that I've noticed that yet. I don't smoke, but this will probably make a good gift for a smoker once the candle has burned through.

I absolutely like this container that it came in & will definitely be keeping it, I think it's great I wish more candles came in designs like this. But the scent just wasn't there, I will say that I had this lit & burning for around 3-4 hours & you can hardly tell, so the burn time does look good but I had this on the far side of my bedside table which is 2-3 feet from me & I couldn't really smell anything. Every once in a while I would get a hint of the scent but that would be it I was very disappointed, in the type of person that likes my entire room filled with the scent of my candle yet I could barely smell this at all.

The steel container is beyond cool. No smokers in my home so I won't be using it as an ashtray but I will probably stick another candle in it. The scent is long lasting and intense. If you don't like the scent you better blow it out immediately because everything will smell like it in the room for days. Most essential oil candles don't really emit much scent after a few hours. Not this one. I burned it to the bottom and it never gave out. I will definitely be ordering more of these and try the other scents.

Either they forgot to add scent to my candle or it's a rip-off. There's just the slightest hint of a scent to this candle and absolutely none when you burn it. I like the metal can it came it though. Loosened and removed the useless wax inside of it and turned it into a drinking cup.

This is a very nicely, smoky vanilla fragranced candle with a detailed print on the front, perfect for anyone who is into these darker kinds of themes and designs. The box is nice enough to give as a gift as well.The candle is a good size that I believe should last for several days of sporadic use. Included is a lid that has notches in it, to allow the candle tin to be reused as an ash tray if desired. The lid doesn't fit onto the tin straight out of the box, as the candle must be burned down a bit first.Overall, this feels like a premium product and a great choice for anyone into these darker kinds of designs, or any lover of candles, especially those who smoke. Reusable, attractive, and quality product. I would gladly order other scents to try out more.
