Faithfull Chisel & Point Crowbar 48 X 1

An invaluavble piece of kit for anyone wanting to dig post holes or trenches etc. It breakes through burried brick courses, dislodges stones and can even split old concrete lumps. Before I had this 'little' gem, digging post holes just with the traditional post hole digger alone was a nightmare. Now the job takes a fraction of the time it used to take. Simple, strong and with enough weight to easily drive it into the ground. I was surprisd how a simple piece of kit like this that needed no power supply, recharges or a degree to opperate, could help so much with the task.

The only thing put me off buying this before was the width of the flat end. However I took the plunge and ordered. Surprisingly I received different one than the one in the picture. It was red colour and the flat end is about 2 inches wide! Brilliant. So it's perfect for all my gardening needs. Not too heavy to handle but heavy enough to dig holes with less effort. Even my wife can use this for her gardening without getting herself hert :)Days after arriving, I have used this to make some steps in my backyard. Specially bought this to do that work and I couldn't have done it without this beast.Sold by Amazon, so as usual fast dispatch with tracking. Very high value for money. Highly recommended.Edit after several years of use:Still one of the most useful gardening tool. I use it heavily but still looks the same. No corrosion and sharp as it was when I bought it. I liked the robust - ( indestructible ! ) nature of this crow bar. As it is slightly smaller than the full size agricultural one I had already,it is more suited to gardening jobs like stirring compost, while still being quite suitable for fencing work, useful as a lever, and for general demolition purposes. Being painted red makes it easier NOT to lose, when laid on the ground, unlike the traditional black ones.

Makes digging holes for posts piece of cake. Must have tool, especially if you have rocky soil. Cheap compared to other product but does the job perfectly. Good and quality built and should last forever. Fast delivery, definitely recommend this product.

This is a very heavy steel bar with a point one end and a chisel the other. Not much more you can say, it's great for chopping roots, breaking concrete and as a makeshift javelin. Hitting the pointy end with a club or sledge hammer will make it turn into a mushroom shape though as you'd expect.Additional info: I have managed to bend it! Not quite sure how, but it's now got a nice 10 degree bend in it.

I bought this to assist with prying and levering out deep seated roots in the garden. Had considered a heavier digging bar, but knocking the far end of the age scale thought the shorter bar might be a wiser choice.This 48 inch crowbar weighs about ten pounds (the weight of a sledge hammer). It has a round profile with a sharp 50mm wide chisel tip at one end and a pointed tip at the other. When using it, I would recommend keeping your feet well apart so you don't drive it through your foot; and taking care not to poke yourself in the eye. For me it's a useful partner to the pick axe and planting spade for small excavations in heavy clay soil.

V good product, a bit lighter than expected but atill works effectively. Used as a bulb planter as well as for holes to put in fence stakes
