I don't have an interest in the use of a telescope.

I bought this to share terrestrial experiences with my 13 yr olds son. After a frustrating beginning the vendor helped walk me thru the steps I thought i already had done so I could see the moon. Once we figured it out it was cool to see the moon craters and uneven surface. I cant wait for a full moon or an orange one to see the difference. It was very easy to put together in about 15 minutes, comes with a nice carrying bag. One day we will take it to the park since there is nothing interesting or far enough away in the neighborhood. It also comes with a phone attachment to take pics of videos but we haven’t tried that yet.

Nice beginners telescope. It has an attached scope to aim the telescope and an adapter allowing you to take pictures through the eyepiece using your phone’s camera. Assembly was easy. Overall satisfied. My kid really enjoyed watching moon and stars and shown interest in exploring more about space, which is worth it! Good product for gifting to kids.

Gave this as a Christmas gift. The recipient loves it. Shipped quickly.

Perfect Christmas present just as described

The scope itself is pretty good. I was able to get a full-frame view of the moon tonight with good clarity. The problem came when trying to take pictures with my phone. The phone holder isn't terribly easy to line up with your camera if you don't do it in the right order, and forget about doing it in the dark with the notches you have to line up in the adapter with the eyepiece.The real trouble came with the tripod, though. It's wobbly, fairly flimsy, and the pitch and yaw movement and locking are extremely coarse and lacking in finite control. Even with the viewfinder, it was difficult to get the moon close enough to be able to see in the eyepiece and center, but as soon as I did, and went to tighten the pitch/yaw locks, the scope would move so easily I was lucky to get a properly-framed view of what I was looking at. And that was before I put my phone on there with the adapter. With that on there, the pitch control was so imprecise that I actually had to tighten it a few degrees above where I was trying to aim and let it drop into frame, and even then I had to get lucky when I was using the 25mm eyepiece with the Barlow lens. So I gave this scope 4 stars because the scope itself is good and the focus is easy to use, but the accessories definitely degraded the experience.

Great beginner's telescope

Il ne nous a fallu que 15 minutes pour que tout soit prêt. Il est même livré avec un sac de transport pratique, ce qui le rend facile à emporter avec nous lors d'aventures d'observation des étoiles. L'objet sur le trépied est doté d'une monture AZ sophistiquée qui nous permet de le déplacer facilement et d'observer différentes choses dans le ciel nocturne.Maintenant, une chose que nous aimons vraiment, c'est le gadget téléphonique. Cela nous permet de capturer la beauté du ciel nocturne et de la partager avec nos amis et notre famille. Nous n’avons pas encore tout compris, mais cela semble plutôt cool.En fin de compte, ce télescope est un choix solide pour toute personne intéressée par l’espace. Il est convivial et la combinaison d’une configuration facile et d’une portabilité est un gros plus. Nous avons passé d'innombrables heures à observer la lune et les étoiles, et cela a suscité un vif intérêt pour l'espace chez nos enfants. C'est comme investir dans du temps de qualité en famille et explorer l'inconnu cosmique.

Internally stopped down to 30mm. Terrible for the price and misleading labels.
