I bought these for my two boys' (9 and 11yrs) flag football. The design means they just put it in their mouth and leave it there for the game. They can talk and drink, without having to constantly take it out. With their old venum mouth guards they had to take them out to talk between every play, drop them on the ground, leave them on the bench; plus as their mouth changes each season, we kept having to buy new ones. The fact you can re-mold these bulletproof guards with hot water also is great for an age-group that is constantly growing. I am a BJJ black belt and this is a great buy for teeth protection for all the same reasons. I have my doubts that this would be good enough for tackle, as advertised, where concussive force is more of a concern, but I don't have any experience in that area.

I feel like this is kind of a scam, it’s hard as a rock. There is no way I am gonna have my kid wear this even after moulding it, I don’t see how it will make it softer for hard impacts. Can’t return it either. Buyer beware.

Love these! My son wears them for rugby. They are thin enough he can still talk normal, he can drink water with them in, etc., but they are strong... you can't just bend them. He has braces and these are great because we can reshape them as his Orthodontist makes adjustments and his teeth move (not a one-and-done thing)! They lasted all rugby season last year and are still good for this year. We ordered a few more (another one as a backup in case he loses one and two for his younger brother that wants to play this year). When he is playing football, he prefers one with a tether he can attach to his football helmet and you can't do that with these.

Make sure to order the one with the included braces forming spacer.Hasn't chewed through it yet, most other guards last only a couple of weeks.If he DOES chew through it, it's warrantied! :) How awesome!

Not at all as described. I guess you're supposed to put it in hot water but all it did was NOTHING! IT JUST WAS A FLAT PIECE OF MATERIAL. NOT A MOUTH GUARD AT ALL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY DON'T GIVE REFUNDS!

My son loves this for taekwando. He says it’s so much easier to breathe compared to mouthguards he has used in the past. I didn’t realize I had to order a specific one for braces but a quick email and they had what we needed to us in a couple days. Recommend
