1 Year Review
After Govee fixed the Android App compatability, it really fixed the UI experience getting these things dialed in.Even with the oscillator broke on one, they all function quietly and flawlessly, I do love the little functions where it speeds up and slows down to keep the air in each room reasonably cool.I have these plus the Govee Air Purifiers, and with air so clean you dread opening your door.

This fan is great
Not too much air flow. Just right for my bedroom

Good product - slightly noisy
It works quite well for what it is. The slot for being able to add essential oils for scent is quite nice. The only downside for me is it's a bit rattly, and it's not particularly quiet on any setting. I have it in my bedroom, and even on speed setting 1 it's loud enough I don't want to leave it on overnight. When I am working during the day it's not a bother though

Smart fan. Works with Alexa
This is nice looking smart fan. The Govee app is pretty intuitive and the fan allows schedules to be created to turn ON/OFF and set speeds based on temperature. The top of the fan has backlit touch control and an LED display for temperature. You can choose to turn off all lights and display based on a schedule on the app.

Another fan with issues
I think this will be my last Govee Life product. I've had problems with multiple smart tea kettles and now this is the third fan with issues. Govee's quality for Govee Life appliances is not on par with how it is with their lights.I got two of the other fan models and both oscillation motors made irritating noises and eventually both completely broke.I thought this more expensive model would be built more heavy duty. And it does appear to be. I was happy that there was no clicking sound on oscillation so maybe this has a better quality oscillating motor. The other two had oscillation motors that were made of plastic. Yep, I kid you not.But then comes the problem. While the fan is oscillating it will speed up and slow down. It's a lot like nature mode but only makes the same increase and decrease in speed of about one increment.I thought maybe it was somehow stuck in nature mode. So I went through each of its modes and then set it back on the basic mode which Govee calls "Normal." Nope still does it. While it's not as irritating as Nature mode because it only goes up and down one speed increment, it's still irritating enough I can't use oscillation. To sleep I need both a fan and it needs to oscillate. I'm the type that sleeps with a fan all year even the dead of winter. The only thing that changes with the season is the fan speed.Anyway, now I'm stuck with another fan I can't use oscillation with. And these are not cheap fans. This is absolutely unacceptable poor quality.

Great fans
I own about 8 of the Govee fans and they work well.

Smart Tower Fan OK
The fan looks pretty sleek, all black with a lit upward facing panel. Putting together was hard for me because the circular base was being difficult. I snapped the outer edges together but it never fully aligned near the center area for some reason. Undoing and it seems incredibly hard to do, and more likely would break with harder force. The spin/oscillate mode works fine, but it does wobble at higher (7-8) speeds, which can get annoying or wear the fan down.Using the govee app, you can schedule the panel to display during certain times or have it always on. Or off, so you aren't lying awake at night with blue light on the ceiling. It does not come with a separate remote. You have to have a smart phone to use the remote functions. It can connect to Google Home or Alexa, though Alexa is better because you can adjust the fan speed on the app while Google Home is limited (I've also had some trouble with the Google Home app lately, plus it's not recognizing what i'm asking for)Another downside is that for some reason the fan speeds aren't consistent? I can visibly hear the fan change in volume, especially on the lowest setting. Bought this for sound, so it's annoying if it suddenly starts whirring louder.
