To be absolutely clear the NEWGO cooling vest really does work, with its 4 cooling pack pockets at the rear and 2 in the front the torso can be cooled whilst you are generating body heat, The quick release buckles on ether sides helps should you get too cold.The material feels as though it will be water resistant however the design also specifies using the supplied bubble wrap bags although I could not see any benefit in doing so and used them without. The cooling packs You need to fill with water and the gelling ingredients is already in the bags. Simply fill with tap water to the line seal and pop in the fridge.The price is reasonable although I feel that there are some missed opportunities with this product which may inspire a Mk2 version or be at least an upgradable cost extra. In my fridge right now I have gel based cooling packs and migraine eye masks which I have owned and used for years with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I fear that the cooling packs which comes with the NEWGO product will not last as long as they do and maybe a future feature down the line obviously will minimalize waste and therefore better on the environment.The second point I would like to raise may well be a missed opportunity by the company as in winter months the cooling packs could be swapped out for thermal packs helping to better regulate the bodies temperature all year around. just a thoughtOverall I really really love this product but it could be better as mentioned in my honest review.

A lightweight jacket that's like a safety tabard, but with 6 pockets to put ice packs in.The packs are refillable with water, so not like normal freezer packs. You just have to remember to not overfill them. The also go harder than normal freezer packs, so you need to lay them flat to be effective and not dig in your back.The jacket can be a little heavy but everything stays in place and you can adjust the side straps to keep it tight against your body.
