Bag of Fifty Various Coins with an Indian Head Penny

this was awesome! I was amazed of what I found in this bag! it came withe mostly 40 and 50's BUT I got a 1943 steel inside and that was not even advertised! the indian head was in pretty good shape for its age too.(1889) also I got a 1937,1920 and 1916 inside, Incredible!

All but 3 were from the 40s and 50s. There were a few S pennies though. Nice that there is an Indian head penny.

As a budding coin collector (casual, as I don't want to spend money on expensive coins), I decided to start a wheat penny collection just for the heck of it. I ordered a bunch of random wheat penny assortments from Etsy and Amazon. This one came sooner than expected, so I spent a good amount of time sorting and organizing my pennies. Here's what I got:1913, 1919, 1926, 1929-S, 1937 x2, 1938-D, 1939 x2, 1940 x2, 1940-S, 1941 x3, 1943, 1944 x2, 1945 x3, 1946 x 4, 1947 x4, 1948 x2, 1949-S, 1950-S, 1951-D, 1952-D x2, 1953, 1954-D, 1955 x2, 1955-D, 1956, 1956-D, 1957-D x3, 1957 x2. I also got one 1992 (regular) penny. Total: 49 coins (although I may have miscounted). I did NOT receive any Indian Head penny as advertised.As you may have noticed, the majority of coins were 40s (47%) and 50s (33%). The majority of them were noticeably poor condition. I got one decent 1946 penny and also one 1947 penny in very bad condition with large pockmarks. I did find some pennies I hadn't have before, but overall, this purchase was not worth it. Maybe for beginning collector like me who is satisfied with mediocrity, but overall, save your money.

Was able to add to my albums, 1 from the teens, 1 from the 1920s, 2 from the 1930s, and the rest vary from the 1940s and 1950s. My Indian head cent was from 1907 but pleased with the purchase.

Loved the Indian head, filled more than a few holes in the album. Will buy more soon!2 weeks later... Got another grab bag today. Lots of teens, 20s and 30s. Always nice to have a roll not be all 50s... As for the Indian Head ,I was hoping not to get the same one as last time...

I have ordered this product twice. It’s always the luck of the draw with various bags of wheaties but both bags I’ve received had a great range of years, and the Indian head pennies were in great condition! Received a couple 20’s, a couple 30’s, and mostly 40’s and 50’s. But some nice ranges of “S” and “D” were in the mix. This will be the supplier I keep going back to for wheaties.

I really liked it because it came quickly and I got the Indian coins from 1895 and another from 1909 at the beginning when the bags came to me I felt cheated but I had what it was and I love it is a good investment and the weat pennys it was 1911 to 1957.
