CBK Projector Color Wheel for Optoma HD141X HD180 HD230X GT1080 US New

This is my second replacement color wheel for an Optoma GT1080. The first replacement wheel never worked well; it was loud, flickered green, and gradually lost color. After a few months, I replaced that wheel with this one. The previous wheel appears to have rubbed against the housing somehow, losing much of the color on the wheel. So this time I followed a note in a review of another color wheel about little rubber feet on the original color wheel. I didn't notice such feet when I replaced my original color wheel, but this time I improvised a couple of rubber feet to ensure plenty of clearance for the wheel to spin. So far this color wheel looks and sounds great. It is quiet, a buzz a bit louder than I remember originally with my projector, but not audible when I'm watching. And the color looks good as new, at least not noticeably different from the color when I first bought the projector.

I bought this to replace the color wheel in a Smart projector and it works great. The description is correct, you have to make sure the indicator on the wheel is in the same spot as the old one. Looks like just a piece of black electrical tape.

Changed my color wheel in my Optoma GT1080 on my own. Once it was done and used my projector I was amazing with how vivid the colors were! This is a great product for a great price!

After installation it had a little sound at start up but worked well. It did for 2 and a half months and then broke. I attached a video. Do not waste your money and time.

Product is garbage lasted about three minutes then blew up after installing.
