Does what it says on the Box!
I purchased one of these about 15 years ago and was so pleased with it, when it finally went wrong a year or so ago I finally found this replacement having searched electrical and D-I-Y stores without success. I'm delighted to find it as good as the original. Thanks Amazon,

Very useful tool
Simple to use and versatileGood replacement for Rapitest 113 which is discontinued.Would recommend this to anyone who may require to test dead circuits.

Arrived unusable
Unit did not work when it arrived.Investigation revealled that the batteries were corroded and dead. In urgent need of the unit, I had to buy three more in order to get it working.Contacted the supplier and requested reimbursement of costs, but they just ignored me.So much for customer service. It would be no stars if I could select it.

`I am struggling to give this product 1 star but as there is nothing lower I settle for this.It would not work when I received it and the supplier SHOWER PRO were completely dis-interested in re-placing the product so to be honest the product could?? be good but the supplier crap!!!.

a handy addition to your tool box
having had a earlier version of this product, which after many years of use failed. when testing and checking curcuits i was lost without it. it is a comment on the product that i purchased the same model as a replacement.

Great little tool
Bought this and used it in ceiling roses around my house so I could install new light fittings safely. I used the AC/DC current test to ensure I wasn't about to electrocute myself (just being a little paranoid), and then the continuity tester to identify switched live from the mass of up to 4 cables coming through the ceiling into each ceiling rose. It is very simple to use and understand the results, and does exactly what I need. I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars because it doesn't have a neat way to store the lead joining the two terminals, and/or no box/bag to keep it in. Just being picky, but the terminals are spiky so it would be nice to have a better way to store it. I've put it in a resealable food bag until I craft up something better.
