This backpack cooler is perfect size. I am able to fit all the stuff I had in my 30 can lunch box/cooler into this nice little backpack cooler without it bursting. We got to the coast at least once a month or do random hikes/picnics and this is amazing to keep our snacks, foods and drinks cool. We use reusable ice packs vs actual ice for the most part and with that it keeps our foods cold when we need. The one time we used ice it held it for awhile but did end up leaking over the car. When we use the bag now we only use the reusable packs so there aren't any leaking. The backpack holds a lot of foods and drinks. We are a family of 4 and have 2 toddlers are a must in the pack. We also sometimes go with family and friends so we bring more than needed. It holds it ALL. It is comfortable to carry it all, theres no digging into the shoulders or pits. The straps aren't super padded but it is still comfy. There are multiple pockets on that pack as well. It is a great backpack for hiking or day trips. Again I would recommend ice packs that can be reused so it saves yall from leaking.
