I was looking for a pretty stencil with birds and branches to work with a China hutch I was redoing. I used Prima Redesign molds to add the flowers and then accented them with this Martha Stewart Chinoiserie stencil. It was a little thinner than some of the other stencils that I've used (most of mine are actually wall stencils rather than craft stencils), but it was still pretty easy to use as long as I was careful. Just make sure you are using a dry brush technique to keep the lines from getting paint seeping under the edges.

This is a really big stencil. I wasn't expecting it to be so large, so I returned it (I wanted a stencil for card making)... this stencil is perfect for decor or craft projects; like designing a chest or table, or something. Looks really nice though, birds are detailed; this would work great with spray paint!

Being new to stenciling, I still struggle to create clean edges. This stencil has an interesting texture on the bottom that helps paint not bleed through. In the pics I'm including, the bird on the branch with clean edges is due to the stencil texture side touching the board. The bird flying above did bleed through some because I needed to make it face a different direction. Either way, these stencils DEFINITELY promote clean, crisp images much better than other stencils I've tried.

This is such a beautiful stencil. Easy to work with and the images are amazing. Turned an old dresser into a piece of art. Once done all I had to do is wet stencil with water and gently rubbed clean. Stencil is of a good thickness so it can be reused over and over again. I highly recommend Marth Stewart stencils.

I used these stencils to makeover a piece of furniture in my living room and love how it came out! I suggest purchasing some stencil stick spray to help make sure the paint doesn’t bleed underneath the stencil.All in all - easy to use and beautiful results!@chelseagilson

So disappointed. I ordered this stencil set back in early spring intending to use it in the redo of my bedroom. Well, I decided not to use it as I was very satisfied with the end result. I kept the stencil set tho in case I decided to use it at a later time. So many months later and that day has now come. In opening the packaging I find that there is only on sheet of stencils - the sheet with the flying bird. There was no indication that one of the stencils was missing as the staples were intact and did not appear to have been altered in any way. Sadly, I was intending to use the sitting bird stencil. I just caution purchasers to check the package for both stencils.

Super cute, maybe one of my favorite stencils ever! I did a desk with two stencils I purchased on amazon. The desk is amazing...I was the stencil immediately after using and it is still in good shape after approximately 10 washes.

I purchased the stencil to use with plaster so I can make raised patterns on a wall. I like that I had several options as far as design and that the stencil was a descent size. Arrived well packed so nothing bent in Shipping.
