Great gift for youngest granddaughter who loves to draw!

I bought this for my 11 year old Granddaughter. She applies the tips and instructions from the book to her personal artwork, and also school projects. The book is a keeper.

My kids both love to draw so I bought this to encourage them to continue their work. They found the content helpful.

Easy to follow directions

Gave as gift to 16 yr old granddaughter interested in drawing. She loves it.

I bought this for my 9 year old who is an aspiring artist. She hasn't shown much interest in it yet, but has thumbed through some of the pages. I like it and find it easy to follow. The approach to both size (ratio) and shape is fascinating.I have high hopes she'll pick it up and give it a go. Her drawing skills are improving weekly, so hopefully it's a matter of time.

I love the book's first part (drawing techniques, understanding shapes, blending and shades). I wish this part would have dug deeper into the details. On another hand, I'm a bit less keen about the "how to draw" section: too much unuseful text.
