🔧 Elevate Your Diagnostics with Ease!
The Tonsiki OBD 2 Cord is a 2ft male to female extension cable designed for automotive diagnostics. Its ultra low profile design allows access to hard-to-reach areas, while the flexible rubber coating ensures durability against common shop fluids. This adapter supports all standard OBD2 protocols and features a power switch to prevent battery drain.

Well made and works perfectly
I needed a switch to turn on and off an OBD2 Bluetooth dongle that let me add a tachometer to my car. The parasitic drain 24/7 cost me a dead battery. With this handy adapter I can switch it on when I am in the car and switch it off when I leave. Perfect. It is well made and the cord length is about 1.5 ft. The switch has a slightly curved back for unknown reasons, but double sided tape still attaches it well.

So far So good
About like most items made out of the states. It appears on the front side of usage to be ok. But time will tell for longevity.

Works fine
I wanted to add this to my Range AFM Disable Device after getting ready to put the third battery in my 16 Sierra from the device killing the battery. Yes I could unplug when not in use but I`m not that`s why I bought the cable :) !The cable works fine, one comment noted the direction of the cable going "up" from the plug, I think this is better, otherwise you would have it pointing down and the potential to kick it and damage the obd2 port would be higher, in my opinion.

Good to use in conjunction with a ODBII bluetooth device
I bought an OBDII bluetooth device and I didn't like that it was on 24/7. I realize it uses very little power but I still was paranoid about waking up to a dead battery one day. As a result, I bought this cable and now just turn it on when I need to. This cable seems to be built well and I really like the fact its very low profile. For whatever reason, Ford decided to put the OBDII connector right where my knee is so I would always bump into the bluetooth OBDII device. Fortunately, the low profile design of this cable means that no longer happens. The only issue with this cable is that it is short. I originally intended to mount the switch by the center console and yet it doesn't reach that far. My car is small -- its a 06' Ford Mustang GT -- so this may be a bigger issue in a wider car. Anyhow, I ended up having to mount it near the ignition which isn't that big of a deal. Overall, I'm happy with it.

... drivers who routinely monitors OBD2 vehicle diagnostics using Apps like "Torque" during their daily commute
Works well for drivers who routinely monitors OBD2 vehicle diagnostics using Apps like "Torque" during their daily commute. The wire extending the OBD2 port on this product allows me to mount a larger, but more reliable Bluetooth adapter in a location that is more suitable to me than the original OBD2 port in my car. Relocating the OBD2 adapter closer to the instrument cluster allows me to perform a visual check of the OBD2 adapter at any time, so as to confirm that the adapter is on, and that OBD2 data is being transmitted. The on/off toggle switch also allows me to leave my adapter in place without fear of it draining my vehicle battery, should the need ever arise for me to leave my car out of commission for several days. Finally, the flush mount adapter-to-port design gives me more leg room and allows me to rest my clutch actuating foot on the dead pedal without bumping into whatever is plugged into the car's OBD2 port. Great value for the price.

Not good.
Garbage. I am using a Veepeek BT OBDII reader and operates fine using Torque Pro. When plugged into this extension, it throws errors in the app and BT has very difficult time finding a connection.
