First AlertEZ Fire Spray, Extinguishing Aerosol Spray, AF400 Red 18 Ounce (Pack of 1)

We've never had fire extinguishers in the house, and I finally ordered a pack of these. Less than a week later, we had the first fire we've ever had in the house when the toaster oven caught fire. My 16yo was able to grab the can, spray the fire, and keep it contained in the oven until it went out. He *might* have had the presence of mind to throw it out the kitchen door, but he would have had to take the time to get oven mitts, open the door, keep the cats from escaping, and then get the toaster oven out without burning himself or anything else. That seems like an unlikely string of events, so I'm super glad I bought these.

Had to use it the other day and it worked great got the grease fire out quickly, it’s easy to use and good price.

These are easy to use so I recommend them for the elderly that may not be able to pull the pin on a standard fire extinguisher. I recommend removing the plastic seal immediately so an elderly person can use it very easily. The only downfall is the 3-4 year expiration label. This seems like a ploy to keep up sales, but who knows. In any case, give one to your parents! I bought ten and have them to my parents and handicapped friends.

This is the perfect safety item to keep in the kitchen by the stove. Always on hand - Just in case! Small enough to stash on the counter with the olive oil bottles and seasonings. I have a large extinguisher in the pantry, but this one would be easy to grab and use. Good value.

Haven’t had to use it, thankfully, but it’s piece of mind just to have it handy. Chose this one due to not wanting the big powdered spray extinguisher. I’m keeping it nearby my laser engraving machine just in case. I’ve researched and found this type is best for electronics. Hope I never have to find out.

After someone set my recycle bin in the alley on fire I bought 2 of these. One for the house, one for the garage. One day I was out gardening and my neighbor's son yelled "there's a fire!" . The house on the other side of their house had a hanging grass planter that burst into flames! I grabbed my can form the garage and handed it to neighbor and he went to the other side of his yard and put the neighbor's planter out. No clue why the planter started on fire - nothing but dirt in it - so maybe the sun reflecting on the metal chains hanging it? Anyway, this came in handy and put the fire out!
