This was sitting in my Amazon recommends list for a couple of months and I kept passing it over. I had heard Jhene Aiko sing hooks on a few songs, but, had no idea what an amazing artist she is. This album has been in constant rotation for me since I purchased it a week ago.Her lyrics are so honest and straight forward that it is almost disarming. These songs are so heart felt and heavy, but, Jhene's style and voice are so beautiful and intoxicating. It is a crazy contradiction that has me hooked.If you are looking for music that comes from a place of real emotion, pain, joy, confusion, love - this album is a must buy. It is such a nice change of pace from the plastic and artificial music that is all around us. This is the best $6 I have ever spent on music. Do yourself a favor and sail out with Jhene Aiko.

I didn’t read previous reviews regarding the cover but the vinyl comes in a plastic sleeve. The actual vinyl is a printed image and is very nice. The vinyl edges stick out of the plastic sleeve, assuming to help it fit, but there were hairline scratches on the edge because of that. It didn’t affect playback.

so i came across 106 and park (last 15 mins of show and never watch videos) and her video for The Worst came on as the New Joint...luvvvvd it. went to Amazon mp3 to buy the song and see if she had any others...ACCIDENTALLY bought this album which just came out yesterday. Let me say that was a few hours ago and already went and downloaded her mixtape Sailing Souls. the music is very smooth. she's fairly young so i expect the music which is already really good to only get better. if you like this get the mixtape...has a variety of features (Gucci to Kanye and Drake to Miguel...on the mixtape) Really smoooooooth music. Was hopeful it was all good and its better than good 5 stars for unique fresh sound.

Great EP by Jhene Aiko! I love this PICTURE DISC LP!! I don't understand all the 1 star reviews complaining about this LP not coming in a sleeve etc. Don't you read the title or description???? This is an official release. And it happen to be pressed on a picture disc instead of a damn boring black vinyl.

I love the whole EP has a fresh sound, but familiar style. Love her sound and the flow of her voice against the different tracks. When I see her and hear music only one person comes to mind and that's Ameriie. Both of these ladies have a very distinctive and unique voice and present to their style. I'm looking for to hearing more from Jhené Aiko a whole album with at least 14 tracks would be excellent.

Bc I really just got this for the music I love it, sounds good and didn’t skip. It’s true the sleeve for it isn’t all that but I don’t mind
