Greenbay 4 x 3m Manual Awning Garden Patio Canopy Sun Shade Shelter Retractable Green

I ordered this on a Sunday night of a bank holiday weekend and it arrived at 6am on the Tuesday morning. Amazing delivery speed!The box (as expected) was huge, it's a 4m awning so the box was just over 4m long.I recruited my husband and my dad to put it up in our garden (I got out of helping as we had a newborn and I had just given birth so was on tea duty!)The instructions are clear to follow although I highly reccomend looking for installation videos on YouTube as it is so much easier to follow once you have watched it.Basically you need to measure and drill holes for the 2 end brackets and the central bracket, insert the expanding bolts into the holes, slot on the brackets and screw them in. Once that is dont you slot on the actual awning and pop in a couple of bolts to hold it in place. It took my husband and dad about 2 hours (including tea breaks and a brief pause for a passing thunder shower!) To put up.The awning itself is brilliant quality, it us easy to wind out and back in and has been great to provide us with some shade in the gsrden. The material is also waterproof so has been great to keep us dry during light rain.Be careful in windy weather thiugh, it is obviously very large and acts like a sail in the wind so definitely wind it in during windy weather or the wind may end up bending the arms.I have attached led fairy lights to mine and it still folds in and out with them attached but gives us some light in the evenings.Both my dad and my husband said they were dreading putting it up but now say it was so much easier to install than they expected!

This awning is a good quality product and I would recommend it.I would have given it 5 stars if the raw bolts supplied were better quality,Recommend you do not use the raw bolts with weak aluminium expanding sleeve, and buy good quality ones with proper metal expanding sleeves.

The package was damaged missing unit that fits to the wall,

working great easy to use and great looking. i only have one slight issue and that’s with the wall bolts one snapped so got six better ones but that might be me being over safe.but overall a great bit of kit at a good price

Replaced my 2.5 m awning with this 4m awning after 12 years of continual usage.A really good upgrade for me.I re used the 12 year old brackets from my old awning. (from the same company) As the are still fully weather proof.Fully recommend this awning.

Awning is my pride. Just had a BBQ last week and this helped a lot to my friends to create mild shade. I am saying mild because this is perfect for Scotland weather as you do not want complete black out shade as it would become cold to sit under the awning. You can't look through it at the sun as the material used doesn't completely block the light which makes it better and not as cold to sit under it. My advice though to check it all for damage before fitting as mine came with smal the hole on the decoration material that is right at the rend of the awning which is very visible to everyone. Seller was not much enthusiastic from beginning to try and help me with return/refund but at the end understood their fault (nothing to checking the product before shipping). 5 stars only for the awning. Recommended.

It is fantastic. Myself and my husband installed it no problem. Easy to get straight and easy to adjust. It has made the garden and we are really pleased.
