I had an opportunity to try this out last night. I was able to fit two rib eye steaks on it and it worked excellent over an outdoor fire. The welds are strong and the larger size was very handy to cook on. Decent heat applied and no warping. No sharp edges on this grill and after cleaning it was a cinch to load this back into the included canvas type holding bag and slip back into my pack. Highly impressed by the Drix attention to detail and quality of manufacture. Worth every penny to me. I highly recommend this grill.

I was skeptical at first, but read some of the reviews, saw the pics, and pulled the trigger on two of em, one is none, two is one theory of mine.Arrived on time and in a great ziplock pouch..Opened up and found the grate, and waxed canvas pouch and a little sticker.The welds are perfect, as they should be, i torqued the grate, little to no give, fir and finish exceptional.The mesh id woven nicely and very tight..i'm giving it 5 stars just because, i'm sure it will be easy to clean, i plan to test it later this month, using a Dakota Hole and grilling a ribeye steak...will post pics....

I have a konro grill that I use frequently for Korean BBQ, Yakitori, etc. I buy expensive binchotan charcoal which gets MUCH hotter than regular charcoal because it's so dense and has such a high amount of carbon. The grate that my konro came with slowly warped and eventually rusted so I had to throw it away and buy a replacement. Those things are not very costly and meant to be replaced every so often, but I wanted something that would last longer and be more durable.This grate is pricier but totally worth it. As soon as I opened it I could tell this was much higher quality and more durable. This thing is a BEAST. All other grates I've tried have warped under the high heat of binchotan charcoal. Not this thing. It's kept it's shape perfectly. It also seems more resistant to rust, although I do make sure I take care of it and clean and store it properly after every use.Love it. Will buy this again if I ever need to.

It arrived quickly and I was truly stunned at the product. Perfect size. The quality amazing. Every joint welded and smooth to the touch. Light weight and sturdy. The carry bag is both sturdy and well made and no doubt will last through hard use. To say the least, I am very pleased with function, quality and cost. I have not yet had the opportunity to use it yet, but it fits nicely in my back pack. Terrific product that I will tell my friends about.

Ok I don't write reviews but this grill is the total package the grill itself is Made of a high quality steel the welds that hold it together are full penetrating not tack welds the metal itself will fail long before the welding does Just first thoughts this grill is a cheap buy but with proper care and usage will be the last grill you would but the canvas bag sewed to perfection even has belt loops on the back for your belt are securing to a Pack it's very heavy waxed which is Awsome the kind of waxing you can feel on your hands afterwords the only down is they use Velcro to secure the flap which is a matter of prefrence but to build such a high quality Grill and such a high-quality canvas bag could have put a couple brass snaps instead Velcro it even came sealed airtight in its own reusable dry bag which for me will probably be used for other items

Very happy with this grill, although I have not yet had the chance to use it. Very GOOD quality bush grill! The fact that it came in a waxed canvas case was just a bonus. I will be testing it out here shortly, and I am almost positive that the grill will perform excellently! I also like the fact it came with a decal/sticker. The grill fits in my rucksack like it was made for it. Great product Drix Outdoors! Very pleased I went with this grill over all the others I had looked at. It is the perfect size for all my pots and I can't wait to throw a steak or two on it and try it out!

This grill grate is perfect for the bushcrafter/hiker looking for something small and lightweight to put in their pack for a trip into the woods. Being stainless steel, this grate will last a very long time. The added canvas bag is very nice as well since it keeps your dirty grate separate from the rest of your gear. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a campfire grate that can fit 2 small pans or a couple nice size steaks!

This is a very nice backpacking grate. I will continue to being it on trips. Tuck it in the back support part of the bag with flexible cutting board and I'm all set. The weight is worth the carry in my opinion. I dont really need a camp stove. Just focus on keeping your wood source dry and you're set. its cleans pretty good but, I'm not to picky about that. Good shape to support on rocks and keep fire going underneath. Has a canvas case that fits nicely.
