Easy and magical
When my husband and I tried out the Kiditos Glow in The Dark Magic Water Elf Toy making kit, we were honestly just hoping for a fun activity to do with the kids—and it didn’t disappoint! The kids were so excited to create their glowing elves, and the process was simple enough for everyone to get involved. Watching the toys light up after being under a light was a cool touch, and they were proud to show off their glowing creations. The only downside was the mess the magic water made. We had a bit of a spill (ok, maybe more than one), and cleaning up afterward was a little more work than I’d hoped. But aside from that, it was a hit! It kept the kids engaged, and now we’ve got these awesome glowing elves hanging around the house. Definitely a fun project, just be prepared for a little extra cleanup!

Fun for the 3rd Time
Third time I’ve bought this— my daughter has a lot of fun with it. As long as you understand that these don't create permanent jelly toys, then you’ll be happy. They create little squishy toys that kinda resemble the jelly slap-toy hands you get from quarter machines, which, like these, are fun to play with for about a day. The main appeal is making the toys. If you want something that looks Instagram-worthy, keep looking, but if you give your kids free rein to have a few hours of fun with it, they’ll be happy.

Save your money look for a different brand.
This is my second set. The first was great. So I bought this one. The directions were way different for some reason and it doesn’t work. The gel won’t react to the water leaving us with horrible creations. I would avoid this product

Amazing Toy Set
I recently bought this toy set, and I have to say, it exceeded all expectations! The quality is excellent, and the vibrant colors immediately caught my kids’ attention. It’s not only durable but also has enough variety to keep them entertained for hours. The design is both fun and safe, which is a big plus for me as a parent. One of the things I really appreciate is how well thought out the pieces are – it promotes creativity and imagination during playtime. It's also easy to store everything neatly, making clean-up a breeze. I highly recommend this to any parent looking for a fun, educational, and engaging toy for their kids. Definitely a great buy.

Fun science class project
This was very fun and easy to do. The whole family enjoyed it with it being a science class project for a 6 year old home schooler. They took quite a while to form and come out of the moulds so we left them sit for a while. We didn’t get to test the glow in the dark because they ended up on a ‘field trip’ outside and played in the mulch and got ripped apart. It was a fun project and there is enough to do an entire second batch.I used one full pack of powder with less water than called for since it said add extra powder to help unstick the elves. (Less water equals more concentrated/same thing). We will definitely use it again. It helped reading all the instructions first.

5 stars from my kid, 3 stars from me
This is a very fun activity for kids. It is far from perfect but provides a couple hours of fun for the kids. You can try really hard, but it is nearly impossible to actually make them look good. I like that they provide plenty of different colors. You probably end up with enough gel to make about 30-40 squishies total. One thing I wish that they provided was 1 or 2 more packs of powder. You only get 2 which means you basically only get to use the kit twice. The squishies are also not durable at all. Don't expect to make them and have a permeant toy. They say you can put them in water to make them last longer, but that seems kind of silly to me. I wish you could make them and actually let the kids play with them after they cure without the risk of tearing easily. It is kind of difficult to figure out the method to make them come out right, but after a couple you will figure it out. Dip the mold in the solution. Try to sling off as much water as possible. If there is any solution left in the mold your gel will begin to cure as soon as it touches and you will have a hard time getting it to go into the mold and not just stick to the tip of the bottle. After you get all the gel in you want to hold it in the solution for about a minute and then begin to very slowly and gently shake it. You will notice that the edges are beginning to break free from the mold. Do not get in a rush. Allow the solution to get between the gel and mold to release it all the way around before you try to dump it out,I personally think the kit is kind of janky, but I can't bash on it too hard because my daughter had a ton of fun playing with it both times and it gave us an activity to do together for a couple of hours.
