PANA Flexible Bendable Mannequin Nail Art Design Training Hand Tool with Stand Display

Used for State Practical Exam.
I used the PANA Flexible Bendable Mannequin Hand Tool with Stand Display to take my barber Practical exam. The main reason I ordered this particular hand was because it included a stand. However, there was no stand sent with hand. By the time I would have returned the hand and re-ordered another hand; my test would have passed. Other than that, the hand was exactly what I needed for the exam. It is flexible easy to use and easy to attach fingernails to.

it's an okay option. fingers are not very flexible.
"it's okay" about sums it up. this mannequin hand isn't nearly as nice as the one we got in our nail tech kits at school. i was looking for a 2nd mannequin hand to have as a backup, and it will do just fine for that, but the fingers are not very flexible and the fingers are skinny and weird.to be honest, none of these godforsaken mannequin hands are ever "easy" to work with. putting tips on these things is always a pain in the ass. the nail beds on this hand are no different from any other mannequin hand i've seen or worked on: the tips will never fit just right. but for $8.99, this will do just fine.

Good sturdy hand for the price, please read!
This practice hand is great for sculpting nails (building nails using nail forms and only acrylic). A great technique in for sculpting w this practice hand is use a couple layers of clear nail polish on the bare nail bed then a bead of acrylic to stick a full cover fake nail on it, then sculpt over the fake nail. I would not recommend using the bare nail bed as a way of sculpting because it will destroy it, or gluing tips to the bare nail bed. Also do NOT soak the nails in acetone. It will eat through the hand. TRUST me. Use the technique above and it will last you a long time.

a little stiff, but workable
I purchased this to attach and paint my artifcial nails before applying them to my own hands. I use a sticky putty to keep them in place. So far it's working out ok. The hand is a little stiff and the fingers don't stay bent, but I can pick it up and turn as needed to and do a much nicer job on my nail art. Hand does come off of the stand easily while handeling, so make sure it is secure while painting. Shipping was decent, and I don't regret my purchase.

Not quite what I expected
Bought for state board. Fingers are movable but not as flexible as I hoped. Fingernails on hand are narrow. I will still be able to use it but not what I expected.

Great practice hand for students.
I wish I had had this hand at the beginning instead of the non-flexible one that came with my student kit. Very easy to work with and the price was great.

Total misrepresentation
My first issue with this product is the color of the hand. It is not the light skinned ivory color on the box. It is a strange reddish pink color looking like someone stayed out in the sun way too long and got a horrible burn. The second issue is the fingers bend but return to their prior position as soon as you let them go. There is nothing internally to help it hold a position. It is more like a thick glove that has been inflated. The hand just spins on the stand and comes off way to easy.
