Bought this desk so I can use my laptop on my bed. Fits 17" laptop perfectly. It has ventilation holes underneath which is good. The mouse-pad section is a bit small for my taste, but it does it's job. You don't need to put a mouse pad on it for the mouse to work. Over-all it works perfectly!

I have been looking at stands lately for my laptop. My uses are for nightly coding in my bed and for my job during the day at my desk. I wanted something that was sturdy and capable of moving around with ease. This design is flimsy and scary to put something as expensive as a computer on top of. The ledge for holding the device is to small and often causes the laptop to fall off. The legs are not supported well in the design which causes wobbly legs which then leads to a wobbly computer for whatever you might be working on. When it comes to my job I don't want a computer moving around because it is both distracting and unwise for a laptop that might be expensive. I suggest either not getting this model or paying the extra money to get a better one.

It was a flimsy piece of crap!

The joints are pretty annoying and tricky to adjust. This has discouraged me from changing its position frequently. That aside, this product matched the description and works well. It's very stable on a variety of surfaces.

not very sturdy, honestly i hardly use it because the legs do not keep it very steady.. the two buttoned both have to be pushed in to reform it the way you want, i smashes my finger so bad, i about threw it across the room LOL.. not enough room to write on as well as work on.. works great quick fix only.. i need more space. i have a MacBook Pro 15” and there is little extra room to write notes as well as work on.. little leg room, tips either way as well as backwards easily.. expensive computers beware! if you lengthen the legs like the advertising picture it tips over raiser! in my picture you can see you have to double the last two links to keep from falling over...

I love that this allows me to use it while sitting on my bed! I just bend my knees to give it a little more stability then it's off to the "office" for me.

I bought this to raise my keyboard just a touch because I bought a taller chair. Based on the laptop in the image, I thought this thing would not only have enough room for my keyboard but I could also use it for a three-course breakfast in bed. Then it arrived and could barely fit my old ass laptop but because of the way the joints are set up, my keyboard doesn't fit at all. I do, however, really like how the image looks like a robot taking a dump.
