PERFECT FOR BEING ABLE TO SHOWER AFTER SURGERY!
My wife had back surgery and was told not to get the incision and drain area wet - at least until she returned for her follow up visit 15 days later. Just imagine having to sponge bathe for that long. Yuk!This waterproof tape is the perfect solution.Using it for 10 days, not once has water gotten behind the tape and into the bandage / incision area! Bandages are 4x8" and this tape is just over 4" wide. I used two vertical pieces (11" long) overlapping them about 1-1/2". Those two pieces sealed the area for zero water penetration!Incredibly, the tape was easily removed without any pain! It did stick well and required some effort to remove, yet my wife did not have any issues with the removal. It is designed for easy trimming and application. On one side (the non-stick side). Is a removable film that is imprinted with a grid for measuring and straight cutting of the tape. The sticky side has a split removable paper. Spilt meaning you don't have to use your fingernail to separate the paper backing and tape at the corner. Instead, the paper backing is split along the center of the tape. It easily peels back so you can remove loosen of each, fold at a 45 degree angle and towards/beyond each side, begin application, then pull one paper backing down as you gently smooth/press the tape to the body. Then do the same with the other half of paper backing. Do the same with strip two, overlapping the tape. Done!My wife loves it and is glad I could assist. There is no way this or any other tape could be applied to the back by the patient alone. Well, maybe a contortionist could. :-)

Best tape for securing feeding tubes & lines & it's waterproof!!!
I'm a 25 year old who has gone through a whole bunch of medical issues recently. I use this tape to secure my J-tube, G-tube, & PICC line extensions, as well as covering surgical incisions for showers. I am really sensitive to adhesive & tape plastics, but this tape does not irritate my skin at all. It is the only tape that does not leave my skin red/broken out/bleeding when it is removed. It barely hurts to pull it off. But, even though it comes off without pain, it still sticks great until you want it off!To secure my tubes & lines, I put one layer of this tape directly on my skin, then I tape the tube or line to the first layer of tape. This method keeps my skin from breaking out from the plastic of the tubes/lines, as well as makes the tubes/lines really secure. I also like that it does not leave residue on my tubes and lines. To cover surgical dressings for showers, I would first put gauze over my surgical site, then use one or two strips of this tape to cover all of the gauze & secure it to my skin. As long as there were no gaps in the tape, and no wrinkles, my surgical sites did not get wet in the shower! It was much better than the weird plastic stuff that they used to cover my surgical incisions for showers in the hospital. This tape just feels like an extra layer of skin. It might be the best thing I have ever bought on Amazon... and I buy almost everything on Amazon.

It was like a thin layer of skin
I have to use patches for pain and no matter what I cannot keep a patch on my skin. The same with hormone patches. They just don't stick and it's strange because I have skin that's more on the dry side. Then I had to get a shot in my spine and they told me I could take the bandage off in a few hrs. I totally forgot about it until the following day. It was everything I could do to get a corner up of this stuff so I could peel it off. It was like a thin layer of skin. 2 weeks later I was at the hospital again and I asked the nurse what it was they used. She gave me one so I could see if I could find it. Well I did and I can't tell you how happy I am knowing that I don't have to worry about my patch falling off. This is really some amazing stuff. The bandages were about a buck a piece. That's a lot of $ considering I change it every 3 days and I saw this roll when I went to order them again. I just cut a piece off a little larger than the patch and for 3 days it's still just as "stuck" to me as it was the first day! I know from reading reviews and reading comments that there are a lot of ppl that have the same problem as I did. Just get this and I promise you'll never be worried about loosing a patch again. Oh and the best part? It doesn't hurt your skin like other things do. Not a mark. No rash and no raw spots. Perfect.

Perfect for insulin pump infusion sets
As you can see from the title I use this for my infusion sets. After I set up the infusion set I simply make a few small cut's without the tubing connected then press down on the opsite flexfit to expose the area that the tubing attaches to. Works perfectly for my needs.

Feels like your own skin
This works great. I use this to extend my Dexcon sensors from 1 week to 2 weeks. I tried the 3M tape but my skin got so irritated that I start to bleed. I tried the same brand but the fabric version and that stuff started to peel off in 3 days so I had to put on new tape constantly. The 3M tape caused the sensor to lift off of my skin which caused the sensor to not send a signal to my reciver (the ??? reading). The Smith and Nephew tape keeps the sensor attached tightly, the tape flexes like skin and no irritation. This stuff is great.
