I only tried this in the 48oz container so can't speak to the rest of the sizes, but it fit fine in my 48oz container. I already had a dry blade/container, I just wanted this as a spare since I use it almost daily to make flour. This worked great and was much less expensive than a whole additional dry container, and takes up a lot less space as an "extra".

This was advertised to fit the Standard Vitamix 64 oz, but it will NOT fit. In the attached photo, the blade on the left is the original, the one on the right is this new one, which clearly does NOT have enough threads for the lock down nut. Cannot use this item at all.

I got this to allow me to grind grain to flour. Works great and does way better than the wet blade. Remember that the container will get scratched up grinding grains

Since OEM parts and accessories are costly, I decided to try my hand at assembling my own "dry grains" pitcher for my Vitamix blender (Classic model). I ordered this blade and a replacement pitcher to fit my unit and assembled them together. I can happily report that, with my first attempt at making flour from whole "hard red" winter wheat using this blade, I had a complete success. Sadly, my bread recipe wasn't that successful, but the whole wheat flour I made from the wheat berries was powdery and flawless! The stainless material and construction of the blade are both top-notch and the blade should likely outlast me. I heartily recommend this blade and, should you wish to follow in my footsteps of making a cheaper DIY dry grains pitcher for your Vitamix, this blade will definitely make that possible. It works!

This is a fantastic addition. It installs fairly simply on our Vitamix and now we dont' have to pull out the grain grinder as this lets us do it. We don't grind grain too often; but, knowing that we can by adding this blade to our existing appliance makes it less work to do so and we will put it off less.Thanks for creating this.

I got this blade to make almond flour. I installed it on a 48 ounce container that I use just for this purpose. The blade was super easy to install using the Vitamix wrench. I removed the original wet blade from the container and installed this. The blade tends to throw the ingredients up and away from it and the results were very good. You need to use the slower speeds to make flour by the way.

I have a 32-ounce dry grains container. I LOVE it. It was time to change the blade and I found this dry blade. I have a black wrench 9it did not come with one) to unlock the ring and take out the blade. the new blade fits perfectly and was easy to replace. It was a very good price for the blade.
