Treat Dispensing Chew Ball, Large

This dog toy is awesome and super strong. My dog is an aggressive chewer and it’s hard to find toys to hold up for her. This is one that I love!!! It holds up for some time!! I keep buying this one over and over due to its durability!!!

We have two dutch shepards who have very high prey drives and two german shepards who learned the ball thing from their brother and sister. I buy more of these when we lose them. These are aggressive chewers and I have never so much had a mm tear of one of these balls. No treats necessary. At this point, we don't buy any other toys - its either green ball or very big sticks. The size is great and they are soft/squishable.

Three young German Shepherds later, the original Starmark Chewball remains a cherished toy. It’s still functional for retrieving, but a new ball was in order. The current “owner” of the chewball is my 5+ year old GS, with or without treats inside the ball. Fragments of dog treats or a bit of kibble inside the ball keep him busy for hours. This guy has a tendency to roll the ball, coaxing the fragments to exit the ball. The original GS, about nine years ago would bounce the ball. It sounded like a basketball court.Therein is the Starmark Chewball’s potential for cognitive development within your dog, and the application of a lesson learned to something else. When that guy was a pup, and had used the chewball for a while, he began dropping his eight inch raw marrow bones on the porcelain floor. Fragments of bone would fly through the air, but his quest was the marrow within the bone, and he would get the marrow out.In conclusion, the photo included shows the difference between a new Chewball, and one with nine years of use. Much wear, yet still functional. My dogs have loved the ball. It is durable, and has the potential to aid in cognitive development for you dog. I highly recommend the Starmark Chewball.

Well, I hardly ever leave reviews, so I'm pretty sure that this will never see the light of day... but I'm writing it anyway, because I thought it sucked that some of these people were leaving bad reviews.This is seriously the BEST food ball in the world, if you have hard floors of any kind. Right now we have hardwoods, and before this we had cement floors. And every other foodball that we'd tried before, drove everyone crazy. In fact, our next door neighbor banged on my door one afternoon and told me we were "insufferable neighbors" because of all the noise we made... the noise was from our purple egg foodball. I thought calling us "insufferable" was a little harsh. But after that, we tried this green rubber ball, and it's excellent. It doesn't make noise. The neighbor is nicer. Our dog plays with it for hours every day. And we will never try anything else.We use it with his dog food (Taste of the Wild), so, while I'm sure that it won't fit everything out there, it works really well for that size kibble. And if your kibble winds up being too large for it... the really good thing about this ball is you can just cut off one of the prongs (that hold the food in), because they're rubber! None of the others are that easy. You have to match the food to the ball as though they are puzzle pieces. This one is flexible and customizable. One other reviewer said her treats spill out the other side. Which I find hard to believe unless you have bird-seed-sized dog food.I think the only con there is to this ball is due to the fact that it's rubber. It doesn't screw apart like other balls, you have to actually push the food in through one of the ends. (It's not crazy annoying. It takes like 30 seconds). But it's a little more manual than a ball that screws open. But if you have a little funnel or something, you could probably use that to streamline the process. :)We buy a couple balls at a time, because our dog plays really hard with it. And after maybe 200 uses, the little prongs that hold the food in will start to wear out. But what the heck do you want for 9 bucks? Right? If I can get 200 hours of fun for our tiny little pug, Toggle, then I'm happy! :)

Great product! My 12 week old lab puppy loves it. The puppy kibble comes out remarkably fast though. It’s fun, but it’s not a challenge for my puppy to get the kibble out. It is very entertaining to watch him scramble to get all the kibble on the floor. It’s easy to load, but it’s kind of time-consuming. So if you have a funnel, all you gotta do is stick it in the ball and then dump the kibble in. It makes it quick and easy! Very durable, but it’s a very easy cognitive challenge.

My two Dobermans love these, with or without treats. They last several years, before needing replace them.

I initially tried dog kibble inside, but found the kibble bits were too large to come out easily, so I tried dry cat food, which worked spectacularly. Plus, the dogs really enjoy the flavor of cat food as a treat. The cat food fits through the holes, much more easily, and it keeps them entertained longer when they don’t get frustrated because they are not getting a reward. It did take quite a while for it to arrive. I don’t know why it took so long but the dogs really enjoy it so I’m glad I ordered it. They haven’t destroyed it yet either!

I use my dogs' kibble as her treats because she's on a pretty strict diet. Before I adjusted the opening none came out and after I adjusted the opening they all fell out so it really didn't work for treats. However, she loves the way it bounces so it's now her new favorite ball!

Dieser Ball hat mich echt beeindruckt. Wir haben schon viel Spielzeug gekauft, das angeblich unzerstörbar war, meist war es nach wenigen Minuten zerlegt.Diesen Ball hat unsere junge Malinois-Hündin auch nach Monaten noch nicht kaputt, obwohl sie es wirklich intensiv probiert. Es ist keine Schramme zu sehen und auch die Öffnung für die Leckerlies gibt anscheinend keinen ausreichenden Angriffspunkt.Absolut zu empfehlen!

A mio giudizio, le migliori per i miei pastori tedeschi. Non riescono a "mangiarle" nè a distruggerle pezzo a pezzo. Continuano a rimbalzare fino a quando non si tagliano completamente (per le continue masticature), di solito circa dopo due anni di utilizzo giornaliero.

I have a 9 month old Great Dane who loves to bite and chew his toys. His last two treat balls succumbed to his biting.This ball however has lasted weeks and there's not a crack or hole in it - and I've been using it for lunches and dinners every day since I got it. Love the fact that the ball's quite big because I can fit more kibble in it AND it doesn't roll under the sofa! Great idea to have the little tabs which you can snip off easily with scissors, the hole is now perfect kibble size without being too easy for him! Well worth the money!

En réalité, nous nous en servons comme balle de jeu et non comme distributeur de friandises parce que sa capacité de rebond est excellente sur tous les sols, même dans l'herbe, c'est donc bien mieux qu'une balle de tennis qui de toute façon sera démembrée... Additionné à sa très grande résistance, notre husky et sa grande bouche peuvent la saisir d'un coup d'un seul, elle adhère, elle lui remplit la gueule. La balle a même tendance à rebondir lors d'un tir droit, car elle rebondit si bien que la moindre perturbation du sol la fera monter. C'est sa deuxième, la première ayant été perdue dans l'eau :'(
